Our venue started as a music recording studio. We still have several studios that operate Monday through Friday. The event business was born out of people coming into the recording studios and asking if they could throw a party in our space and one thing led to another. We love hosting all different kinds of events from weddings, to parties, fundraisers, film shoots, and even the occasional small concert.

The Penthouse on Venice Beach, a rare and unparalleled beachfront venue, flying high above the renowned Venice Boardwalk, was previously enjoyed by only a privileged few as one of L.A.’s most exclusive residences. Unity of the Westside is conveniently located in the West Los Angeles community of Culver City, close to neighborhoods such as Santa Monica, South Bay, Beverly Hills and West Hollywood. The intimate, charming sanctuary holds up to 90 people, and glass doors open into a lovely outdoor patio. Our Community Hall includes a newly renovated full kitchen with plenty of buffet space on granite countertops. Helmed by Jeremy (also the award-winning Chef/Co-Owner at Rustic Canyon) and Executive Chef Matthew Schaler, Birdie G’s is located within Santa Monica’s historic Bergamot Station and surrounded by art galleries and creative businesses. We’re also a member of the Rustic Canyon Family, a collection of celebrated, neighborhood dining destinations throughout Santa Monica and Ojai. Nearly everything is made in-house, with an emphasis on zero-waste, and seasonal ingredients are sourced from local farmers, ranchers and fishers aligned with our values of planet-friendly practices. The 5,000 square-foot restaurant is housed within a former art museum, surrounded by galleries and creative workspaces. An alley breezeway, filled with a variety of lush plants and succulents, ushers guests from Michigan Avenue and serves as an expansive outdoor seating area that wraps towards the back of the restaurant. Once a 1980s smog-check center, SmogShoppe is now a 100% solar-powered, private 6,500 square foot indoor/outdoor haven for desert plants, vertical gardens and chic vintage furnishings. The combined interior and exterior areas allow for quintessential California entertaining, making an ideal vintage wedding venue. The generous floor plan can accommodate up to 150-person garden ceremonies, 150-person formal sit down dinners, and 250-person cocktail parties. SmogShoppe is conveniently located in the heart of the Culver City art/design district, immediately off the 10 freeway, just minutes to Santa Monica, LAX, Beverly Hills, West Hollywood and Downtown Los Angeles.

Built in 1989, this unique design was a replication of a large ship. For years this was known as Paradise Restaurant, which had a huge following and known for its delicious food. After the original owner left, the restaurant changed many hands and was severely neglected. Taking over the huge task of restoring this building to its former glory took over a year and now will be the South Bay's newest premiere Wedding and Special Event Venue.

The Pavilion features abundant natural lighting from its perimeter of floor-to-ceiling windows.The flooring throughout the building is finished with a warm white marble, creating a bright and welcoming ambiance. It all started when the founder of Bedhead Pajamas, Renee Claire Bertrand, and her husband, artist Lavi Daniel, discovered a historical art deco theater ( built-in 1948) near USC and decided to restore the gem back to its original glory which included reconstruction of the 23' bow truss ceiling! NES is a gorgeous raw space and blank canvas for your creative vision with warm natural diffused skylights (8), a private gated closed campus, and additional parking across the street (also used for valet).

The Natural History Museum (NHM) occupies a special place in Los Angeles: It's one of L.A.’s oldest cultural institutions, and today, it's the anchor of an emerging cultural, educational, and entertainment hub in Exposition Park. We show off extraordinary specimens in exhibitions such as Age of Mammals, the Dinosaur Hall, the Gem and Mineral Hall, and our beloved dioramas. But in addition to sharing the history of the planet, we also explore the transformation around us right now: Becoming Los Angeles, the outdoor Nature Gardens, and the Nature Lab look at the relationship between environment and people, past and present, in L.A.
