The mansion, which is now listed on the National Register of Historic Places, was originally built as the palatial home of Martin and Susie Beiger, the founders of Ball Band. Though Martin never had the privilege of living in the home, Susie did and enjoyed nearly 20 years of lavish living and entertaining. Today we carry on this tradition of entertaining as the opulence of the home provides the perfect setting for any event. Chicory Event Center is a new renovated event space in downtown Mishawaka. It features a main banquet room with seating up to 250, a private dining room with seating up to 25, and a Chicory Cafe with an beautiful outside patio. The main banquet room features a beautiful bar with barn doors, coffee bar, dance floor, and a chandelier. This room is perfect for your wedding reception, class reunion, birthday party, sweet sixteen party, retirement party, business conference, or networking event. Tables, chairs, table linen, chinaware, table center pieces, set up, and clean up are all included in room rental.
