Aaron is the videographer of the photo and video, husband and wife duo. It would be hard to categorize Aaron's films into one specific style as each one is unlike any other. After graduating from Parson's School of Art in Manhattan, I worked as a fine artist, my work involved photography and photo manipulation. In 2009 I shot my first wedding, it was a dear friend of mine and the beautiful photos were featured in one of the biggest wedding magazines. In the 1950s & 60s, The Bronx was home to an amazing photographer that captured weddings and family events. His name? Warren Meurer aka the “Silverfox” (due to his flowing silver and gray locks). Fast forward to the early 1990s, Warren’s grandson, John Salkowsky, decided to follow in his grandfather’s footsteps and open a wedding photography and video studio. My inclination towards photography came from classic street photography and photojournalists from all over the world that told their stories through a lens. My name is Gage Horne, the owner of Gage Horne Studios. I started my company in 2019 (officially) but have been doing video work starting at the age of 11. It started as gaming videos uploaded to YouTube, to shooting professional dance films in college, to starting my own Video Production Service. I found true passion in my work when I realized how important wedding videos are. I had already shot 100+ films before my wedding but realized as a consumer how valuable it is. I love what I do and finding intriguing/interesting ways to display those pieces is what keeps me creative and constantly making my films better.
