The Yellow House is a historic farmhouse built in 1857 that sits on 120 acres of farmland. The house is a regional favorite when our field of sunflowers blooms in late August and early September. Guests can utilize the interior of the farmhouse as well as the expansive grounds.

The Whispering Trees offers a secluded and private venue that will provide the ideal setting for an outdoor wedding. Our 40X60 open pavilion can accommodate a large reception and celebration with space for dancing. There are unlimited open spaces for guests to roam and socialize without feeling crowded. It sits on land surrounded by an old-growth hardwood forest with oak, cherry, sugar maple, hickory, and ash trees throughout the property. The property is home to deer, wild turkey, and many species of small animals and birds. We have a creek that winds thru the venue and an old covered bridge that serves as the centerpiece of the wedding ceremony area.

Goodell Gardens & Homestead is a botanical garden and arboretum located in beautiful Edinboro, Pennsylvania. We offer a full schedule of educational and cultural events in addition to our private rentals on select dates. We are now accepting reservations for your 2023 & 2024 celebrations! The Norman D. Banquet Hall has a rich history of being part of our area’s special days and fun times. From its beginnings over 40 years ago as the Knights of Columbus Hall, meeting place and bingo hall. It has hosted numerous weddings, fundraisers, graduation parties, and birthday parties to mention a few. Three years ago, when thinking of selling the hall Robert Dille was approached by a decorator expressing an interest to buy a part of the hall. After much thought, he decided to take the chance on this incredibly talented and passionate lady.

Mary’s likeness stands 50 feet tall and is covered by over 450,000 mosaic tiles. In front of the statue lies the LAKE OF HOPE, surrounded by the world’s largest illuminated fifteen-decade rosary. Daytime Ceremony Only: We offer a ceremony only option at our Butterfly Garden or Rhododendron Garden. An outdoor ceremony only can be scheduled at 10:30am, 1 pm, or 4 pm Tuesday-Saturday, or at 1pm on Sunday. Ceremony only rental includes a two hour rental, an indoor rain location, 45 minute rehearsal, ceremony chairs, time for photos on the grounds, guest parking and admission- as well as staff to assist in the coordination of the ceremony. Evening Reception and Ceremony: Receptions at the Holden Arboretum are held after the arboretum closes to the public and can start as early as 6pm and end as late as 11:00 pm.
