I cannot recommend Boulder Ridge by Wedgewood Weddings enough! From booking the venue to coordinate with the ladies on my vision to Karyn being the best day of coordinator- we had such a smooth and successful wedding planning experience. I also love that you can text them pictures and text questions at anytime. It was so easy and helped make the process a bit more stress-free. On top off the service, the venue was stunning. My guests loved the long driveway and that the ceremony was outside. It was beautiful! The vendors provided by Wedgewood Weddings are also top notch. We used I Do Cakes (which they were able to make vegan) and it was so good. We even had guests ask where we got the cake (win!). We used DJ Kevin (imobile DJs) and he was so great! 98% of the wedding guests were on the dance floor by the end of the night. We also used Flower Divas- I was very particular and sent Shawna all of my pinterest pictures. She absolutely nailed it! Everything was beautiful and better than expected. We received so many compliments on the flowers.

When guests arrive at the redwood-and-glass building, they often gather in its open, airy lobby. Then, if you’re having your ceremony here (and most couples do), your family and friends will be ushered through Craftsman-styled double wooden doors to the serene South Patio. This beautiful, crescent-shaped flagstone space wraps around one entire side of the building and features a Zen-like border of Japanese maples, native plants and graceful oaks. Handcrafted ceramic urns are integrated throughout and serve as artful and calming water features. You can opt to exchange vows in front of those wooden entry doors, or take full advantage of the patio’s pièce de résistance and say “I do” beneath an asymmetrical canvas canopy. There’s ample room for al fresco cocktails on the patio before everyone moves into the Sequoia Room for dinner. This reception area feels quite spacious, with its cathedral ceiling, polished hardwood floors, and two walls of glass

Our wedding was held here. The venue had so much to recommend it and was perfect for the ceremony and cocktail hour in the the large patio areas, and dinner and dancing in the Sequoia Room. We had 100 guests, easily accommodated for a seated dinner leaving a roomy dance floor. The great convenience of having on-site ample parking, and easy accessibility was appreciated by our guests. The facility is well designed, modern, and all on one level. There are also some lovely spots for wedding photos taking advantage of the landscaping around the center. Another huge plus was the ability to use the caterer of our choice (Kitchenina) and other vendors. Working with the venue representative, Dashawn W., was a pleasure; she was so efficient, responsive, and helpful, from the day we first toured Arrillaga throughout the whole planning process. The Arrillaga Family Recreation Center was perfect for the wedding - a great venue for a wonderful day!

Small shopping plaza across the highway from the hotel had eating and shopping options and the Plaza was just a few minutes away.

This past year I got to photograph a wedding at Los Altos History Museum. I was excited to work here and it did not disappoint. Los Altos History Museum is a special venue. The first thing that captures your attention is the charming restored house and beautiful garden setting and amazing trees that surround the property. It’s a wedding photographers dream venue. The Staff did a awesome job at executing the couples vision and making their day seamless. A great venue to work with and from my perspective, a great venue to have your dream wedding at!

As a photographer, I've shot at a lot of venues & Ardenwood always tops the charts There is a lot of space to move around; especially in the reception space! That's something not a lot of ballrooms and even outdoor venues offer. The spaces are also gorgeous, which is a plus for photos! But the cherry on the pie will always be the coordinators you work with; Lindsey and Claire are amazing at caring for you (and us vendors!), taking care of the details, and turning your dream into a reality. If you're thinking about Ardenwood, just book it already! :)

We had a wonderful experience working with the Saratoga Country Club for our wedding. From the very beginning and throughout the whole process, the event planner Sherry was always quick to respond and helpful with answering all my questions. The Country Club recently repainted and re-carpeted their reception room, and it looks so good! They had an event earlier in the day before our wedding, so I was super worried they wouldn't be able to set everything up quickly enough, but they did an amazing job! I had a minute to see the reception room before the ceremony, and they had arranged and decorated everything exactly how I had specified. The day-of reception coordinator, Mara, was also wonderful. She was super attentive and helpful, even checking on our parents multiple times throughout the evening to make sure they were happy. Would definitely recommend this venue for a South Bay wedding!

My husband and I chose to have our wedding reception (170 guests) at Fogo de Chão in Santana Row, and we highly recommend it for anyone else considering a restaurant as a venue for a wedding reception. We were already familiar with both the Fogo de Chão San Francisco and Santana Row locations as we had dined at these two locations a few times prior to the wedding (both for date night and family outings). Each time the service was fantastic, so it was an easy choice for the both of us to make. I've assisted in planning wedding receptions for other family members and friends with various, typical, non-restaurant wedding reception venues, each and every time a different headache, so my husband and I knew for sure that choosing a restaurant would be the best choice. The Fogo de Chão team delivered and provided the easiest planning experience by far. Leo and Yelena provided us with timely updates, kept communication open, and kindly received and efficiently executed all of our requests. The night of our reception greatly exceeded our expectations. Fogo de Chão is a beautiful restaurant as is so very, very minimal decorations were needed. The quality of our dinner and service felt so luxurious. The staff was warm, highly attentive and catered to all of our guests' needs; we even had our own designated server for our sweetheart table. From the moment we inquired, all the way to the end of our wedding reception, Leo, Yelena, and the entire Fogo de Chão team made our experience extremely effortless, seamless, and memorable! Our guests to this day still rave about how delicious everything was, and the great time that they had! My husband and I are beyond happy and grateful that we were able to share our wedding day with the Fogo de Chão team. They made our wedding reception an event we will proudly look back on and cherish forever. A very heartfelt thank you to the Fogo de Chão team for this special time!

We held our wedding reception at Saratoga Springs in the Cathedral Grove region of the venue on a Saturday in October. After visiting them for a walkthrough, we booked this venue about a year and a few months in advance. This was the first venue we visited and we fell in love! We felt a great family-like vibe from the staff, starting with Jennifer who coordinated our initial booking and tour. Throughout our time preparing for this event, Olivia and Sam were extraordinary in their communication, response time, and knowledge of these events. They did a wonderful job in helping us understand what we needed vs. what we wanted and good decisions to make. They never tried to upsell us on more expensive options, always letting us know the best value for what we wanted. Throughout this process, we knew we had made the right choice in terms of staff. Scenically, Saratoga Springs is stunning! An outdoor venue with several different species of large trees like oaks and redwoods, many small creeks that run through and around the venue, and several amenities included such as lights that wrap around the trees, a firepit, and artificial turf that you can actually wear high heels on! We were in love with the scenery immediately because our reception was LOTR/Legend of Zelda themed and this was perfect for us. Throughout the actual event, the Saratoga Springs staff was excellent. They assisted us and our own day of wedding coordinators in running the event and making sure we had everything that they could provide. Our reception was during a brutal heat wave in the Bay Area, but Cathedral Grove had so many large trees that the shade they provided meant the floor never got hot and it felt more like 75 degrees which was SO essential for the comfort of ourselves and our guests. Everything was great, and we give the venue and their staff a 10/10. There was one glaring issue we want to address. The DJ we booked, Paul Dominguez, was a very nice man. He seemed to be on top of it, being in constant communication with us leading up to the event. We felt that he was going to do a great job. Yet, when it came time for the event, he made SEVERAL mistakes in what we asked him to do that we felt the need to address this situation and performance. He is part of the approved vendor list for DJs but we honestly feel Saratoga Springs needs to either reevaluate him or discuss this with him because literally everything else about the night was perfect for us, except him. Again, he is a nice guy and even provided cold sparklers for us for free which we really appreciated, but the lack of attention to detail in several aspects of this night was something we felt we needed to address here. Overall, Saratoga Springs is an excellent venue choice for a big event like a wedding/reception and we are happy to recommend anyone looking for a venue. We had an amazing experience for our reception and we are very satisfied with the staff and scenery of this venue.

The great room with its giant chandelier was fanatic for our reception and dancing! Renee and the team were very helpful, responsive, and flexible as we planned the different parts of our wedding. They answered all of our questions and worked closely with our planner and other vendors to make our day spectacular. Would highly recommend!

I'm sad that I don't get to plan anymore with her because the wedding is done - I had so much fun working with her! Our wedding had about 80 people and it was a beautiful July day with good weather. The venue has both indoor and outdoor seating options for the reception. There are a lot of different food drink options for the menu too. We had a delicious tasting session the food on the wedding day was so yummy too. We chose this venue because: 1. We love the half moon bay brewery 2. The view venue are beautiful 3. We loved Brittani and the staff the minute we first stepped on the grounds and had our first tour of the place! I wouldn't change a thing about our wedding and I'm so thankful we found Mavericks house. Thanks for making all our wedding dreams come true.

It was so much fun and our guests had a great time!  We rented the entire lower level and they kept the galleries and exhibits open so our guests could play with them throughout the night! They were a hit during cocktail hour as well as for taking breaks from the dance floor (although we still always had plenty of people on the dance floor!)  Our event was mostly adults with a handful of younger relatives, and everyone had a great time. The exhibits at The Tech Interactive are perfect for quick and fun interactions no matter how interested (or not interested) any individual guest was in science/technology. Our engineer friends had a great time with the Cyber Detectives activities, while even our least technically-inclined guests enjoyed playing around with things like the Jet Pack Chair and Solve For Earth. This was truly best of both worlds, as we didn't have to give up any of the "traditional" wedding elements to make room for the fun of the exhibits - our tables and decorations were set up beautifully, we still had appetizers and an open bar, and like I mentioned above, there were still always plenty of people on the dance floor! We actually didn't even need to decorate as much as we might have with a more "traditional" venue either, as the existing colors, lighting, and layout of The Tech make for a strong baseline to build from. Our primary contact was Lolita and she was extremely helpful and pleasant to work with. She was there with us every step of the way, from our initial tour to our reception itself. She made sure to consider exactly what we were looking for to make our wedding special and was extremely organized and great and communicating with us as well as our other vendors. She created a great layout based on our table count, dance floor size, and the space the caterer needed, and she and her team went above and beyond and worked with our caterer and coordinator to help set everything up between the public close time and the start of our event so that everything was perfect when our guests got there. They even let us customize the exterior lighting color of the building during our event. The physical location of The Tech Interactive is fantastic as well - right in downtown San Jose within walking distance of tons of hotels and two parking garages where The Tech validates. The city closed off Market Street right in front of The Tech relatively last minute for a public city event, but Lolita was on top of it and worked with us and our shuttle company to arrange for pickup and a smooth experience for our guests. In summary: If you're looking to do something unique with your wedding or event, I can't recommend The Tech Interactive enough. Lolita was fantastic to work with and our guests couldn't stop saying how it was one of the most fun weddings they had ever been to.

It is completely private. The reception is held at a nearby venue of your choosing. You are provided with a list of local receptions sites.

We found Hastings House by looking for venues that catered specifically to small weddings (20 people) and fell in love with the garden and seaside scenery. Linda was a pleasure to work with; she gave us great local recommendations for hair stylists/MUA, florals, officiants, and reception venues in addition to helping us work through the complicated details of our guest seating and staggered arrival times. The classical guitar music her husband played during the ceremony preparation really stepped up the already romantic air of the garden. We hired an external photographer since we wanted pictures of our reception as well, but Linda was so generous as to take a few stunning photos of our ceremony as a bonus. She also took the time to walk our photographer around the garden and offered advice for photo framing and staging. Linda and Richard were both very accommodating of our wedding vision and they played a huge part in making our special day every ounce of wonderful!

One word: Perfect. As someone who suffers from severe anxiety, I can honestly say I have never felt more at-ease and confident than while working with the Wedgewood Weddings Redwood Canyon team -- they always had our backs, kept us on track, and made us feel taken care of. From the first venue visit, during the planning meetings, all the way until the rehearsal and wedding day, the professionalism, clear communication, planning resources, and organized approach made for a seamless experience. We worked with Allison as our Wedding Planner and Coordinator and I firmly believe that she is one of the main reasons our wedding went as incredibly as it did. Redwood Canyon, provides a planning binder as soon as you sign that includes monthly checklists ahead of the wedding to help keep you organized in between planning meetings. It is also filled with valuable information about the wedding planning process, examples, vendor questions, and general guidelines. It helped us structure the planning process without losing the ability to truly personalize our event. Every meeting we had with the planning team was concise, direct, and organized -- it helped us stay on track throughout the process and gave us the opportunity to discuss ideas and ask for advice (which they are also more than happy to give via email). Super responsive and accommodating -- we were so impressed with how easy the process was. We also partnered with their recommended Bakery, DJ, and Florist as part of our vendor team, and the coordination between venue and vendors was absolutely seamless...by the time the week of the wedding rolled around all the main aspects were locked in and we knew the event was in good hands. The wedding day itself was perfect. Allison served as our Day-Of-Coordinator, and together with Jacoby (co-coordinator), Liv (banquet captain), Liz (banquet captain), and rest of the team (cooks, servers, bartenders) we had the most incredible wedding. We arrived at the agreed-upon time on the day of the wedding, and from that moment onwards, the Redwood Canyon team took over to deliver the best experience. They were organized, calm, kept us well hydrated and fed, and kept everything on track for us all night. We were able to confidently hand off the reins -- we didn't have to think of anything all day other than having a good time and enjoying our day as much as possible, trusting that all the logistics were in good hands. Overall, the venue itself was gorgeous. We had our ceremony in the Arbor Lawn, our Reception in the Grand Ballroom (we initially chose the venue primarily because of the dance floor), and rented out the Rose Room for the Cocktail Hour. Everything was included and beautifully decorated with all our desired personal touches, the food and drinks were delicious, and the planning and coordination services must be some of the best in the business. I can't imagine a more incredible experience than what we had and am so thankful for the Redwood Canyon team's care and professionalism -- especially Allison, who we were fortunate enough to work with from first meeting through the day-of.
