My love for photography started when I was in high school. I became the school yearbook and newspaper photographer the end of my sophomore year until I graduated. For me, the ending of that journey was the saddest thing about my graduation. I was told being a photographer wouldn’t gain me a living, and I should aspire for something higher. I listened to other people instead of following my heart. It wasn’t until after my father passed away, I realized what I should have done. I earned my Bachelor of Fine Art Degree in Photography from Utah Valley University, but I have been carrying a camera around with me since I was in elementary school. I grew up in Utah, but have also lived in Australia, Brasil and Hawaii. I am a mom to 3 kids and we love getting outdoors to go boating, camping, hiking and all the fun things.
