Working with Chrystal at Arcadia Academy has been great! She's always attentive and on time. She is easy to work with and super accommodating! We love making food for her weddings and events and everyone is always so complimentary of her and the venue. The venue itself is stunning and definitely a must see! We had our wedding/reception a the Franklin on 6/28/24 and we could not have asked for a better venue or staff. Everyone from the owners, Christina and Danny, to the coordinators, Emily, Cate, and Nichole, and the bar staff/catering staff/every single person we encountered, went above and beyond to make us feel like the only couple in the world throughout the entire process. The space is not only GORGEOUS (your wedding photos will be amazing) but the peace of mind and ease that booking at the Franklin leads to is priceless. Our guests are still raving about the food, drinks, and ambiance. If you’re considering the Franklin—you will not be disappointed. You will be completely taken care of throughout the entire planning process and you will not find a more supportive or flexible venue. We hosted family and friends at Historic Ann’s for my daughter’s wedding in October. Julie and Ellen were very thorough and super helpful in all the preparations for the big day. The property is beautiful. Our bridesmaids stayed in the event house the night before the wedding and had a wonderful time. We would encourage anyone to also take advantage of the Airbnb houses adjacent to the venue. It was perfect for our young nieces and nephews to feel part of the event but also disappear to play when they wanted. Many local people go out of Union City to find the perfect venue. For parties around 100 this venue is perfect, convenient, beautiful, and managed so well! We plan to host other events there in the future. Historic Ann’s is a gem!

If you’re looking for a perfect wedding day, you’ve found it with Red Oak Valley. I had toured numerous venue’s before hearing about Red Oak Valley. On the way to the venue, it was 1.5 hours from our house, I told my then finance, now husband, that it was a waste of time touring Red Oak because I didn’t think our guests would travel far to be with us on our wedding day. But boy was I wrong. As soon as I got to Red Oak my mind immediately changed. I knew it was the place I wanted to marry the love of my life. Nancy, the owner, was the one that gave the tour. She had just gotten done cutting the grass and was as humble as a person can get about her business and the services they offer. I mean, have you seen many owners cutting the grass of their own business? 100 acres at that? I hadn’t. From start to finish, wedding planning was an absolute breeze. Dana, made payments, contract, meetings and anything in between a pleasure instead of a headache. Always willing to go above and beyond to make sure planning went accordingly. Christina, was my day of coordinator and she met with me multiple times and answered any and all questions of mine without an ounce of annoyance (I wasn’t a bridezilla but my anxiety was through the roof because of the person I am lol). She made me feel at ease when we met and talked. She was honestly amazing at everything leading up to the wedding and the day of. She was running around the day of making sure we had the perfect day. And we did. If you’re looking for easy planning, amazing Coordinators and an affordable wedding venue, book with Red Oak Valley. I promise you won’t regret it. I couldn’t give enough thanks to everyone at Red Oak Valley for making our special day, what it was!

Our wedding at the Forest Park Golf Club was absolutely outstanding! Lexi was stellar helping us when we first visited, learning about the different package options, and finding out that we could make the dream of having our wedding reception in Forest Park come true! Maddie did more than we could ever have hoped for as our coordinator, helping us with decorating ideas, arranging all of the details, and getting everything set up perfectly on the day of the reception. We made some additions the week of the wedding that the club accommodated seamlessly. They made everything as easy as it could have been. Our photographer was in an accident on the wedding day (oh no!) which pushed back the timing of the wedding. We arrived later than planned at the reception. Maddie was waiting outside with golf carts so we could immediately dash away for pictures at the Grand Basin- after she made a quick dash into the club to bring out some emergency finger nail tools! And the pictures around the Grand Basin: sunset reflecting on the water behind us… so beautiful! And the food! The drinks! The service! Everything was absolutely outstanding. Me and my bride never got our own drinks- the servers were frequently asking us for anything we would like. It truly exceeded the dreams we had of what our Forest Park wedding reception could be!

We also offer a cocktail hour bar cart and a shuttle service for local hotel blocks or to our off site Loveland Home that sleeps up to 12 guests {located just 10 minutes away}. Our venue hosts up to 215 guests. 1 hour rehearsal, wooden cross back chairs, private bridal suite and grooms loft included in price. Tours offered throughout the week by appointment. Upon booking, we will send you a list of all of our favorite vendors, but we do not require to use them and you may choose your own caterer. We will be here for you every step of the way during planning and we also coordinate your big day so everything runs smoothly without any hitches. Well maybe only one “hitch”😉

We got married at Loveland in March 2024 and are SO happy we did! They were the first venue we looked at and instantly fell in love but wanted to do our due diligence and look at one more to be sure. We checked out one more and that validated that we knew Loveland was the venue for us. Heather is a complete boss and does amazing work and her team is so so helpful. The venue itself is beautiful - we loved the privacy and all that it had to offer (the outdoor ceremony space and indoor reception area). The team cares about their couples and are there every step of the way. Also the fact that we could get an outside caterer and supply our own drinks saved us a good chunk . I’d recommend them 10000x times over!

When we walked outside and the groom saw the river bluff, it was a done deal and he said we had to get married there. Roxanne became our wedding coordinator and to say she was truly amazing is an understatement. She kept us in the loop, kept our heads above water when it felt like there was so much to do, and continued to keep us excited throughout the entire planning process. The day of the wedding, Roxanne was so upbeat and fun and did amazing with the set up. She truly was a treasure. We will never be able to thank the amazing work everyone did, from Roxanne, to the amazing chef, and to all the staff that we didn’t get to meet. All of you made our wedding day PERFECT. Kelsey and Ron are awesome! They provided a personal, curated service from our first visit to view the space to our incredible tasting to some last minute decorating hours before the reception. We had our wedding reception at River City and it surpassed our every expectation. People still come up to us and tell us we had the best wedding they have ever attended. Megan and Christina were both amazing. So organized, helpful, kind and enthusastic. They always went the extra mile when we had a request or question to help us find answers and make it happen. We having nothing but wonderful things to say about our experience with them. We even got to do our food tasting twice because there was a new chef and they wanted to make sure he cooked everything the same as we had agreed upon before. We literally had minimal things to stress about they took care of everything. The reception was decorated exactly how we wanted and absolutely stunning. The whole staff at River City did an amazing job taking care of us and all of our guests and everything ran smoothly. We had the most perfect day and my husband and I recommend River City to every engaged couple we know and talk to! You will not be disappointed!

The Hilton delivers it all! We loved that their wedding package includes catering, bar, tables, chairs, linens/etc., which really reduced some of the wedding planning stress. (They do allow couples to rent their own if they have a different vision.) Also, their event coordinators are very experienced and gave great recommendations in planning and in managing the day of the event. We truly enjoyed our day because the team at the Hilton Frontenac was handling everything so wonderfully! Our guests loved that they could stay in the same place as the wedding reception, and everyone reported having a great stay with the hotel. As bride and groom, we loved being able to go right upstairs to change shoes, etc. We even had leftover wedding cake brought up to our room which was a real treat! In addition to the wedding reception, we hosted our rehearsal dinner and farewell brunch at the Hilton. True to form, they did an amazing job, and the convenience factor really added to an enjoyable experience! The Hilton Frontenac can do it all! They have practically everything you need for your wedding planning and their team executes it expertly. Some people say that their wedding day flies by because there is so much going on. Because of the amazing staff and experience provided by the Frontenac Hilton, we truly enjoyed every minute of our day! We recommend them wholeheartedly!!!
