The Country Club of Lansing, located in Lansing, Michigan, is a venue open to hosting wedding receptions. This private country club was first founded in 1908 by a small group of people who had the sole intention of creating a golf club. It slowly expanded over the following decades, eventually growing to include an 18-hole golf course, swimming pool, tennis courts, fitness facility, and golf practice range. The clubhouse underwent extensive renovations at the onset of the millennium. “I had my wedding ceremony outdoors at Royal Scot Golf Course in October of 2019 and the scenery was beautiful. I also had my wedding reception indoors in Royal Scot’s North Room which is located upstairs and holds approximately 125 people. The North Room was very spacious and even included a dance floor and an outdoor balcony. All rooms at Royal Scot have full banquet staff which includes servers, bartenders, and chefs. Linens, cloth napkins, flatware, china and glassware are also included. The catering for all functions is provided by Royal Scot and they do a wonderful job. My guests were raving about the food; it was truly delicious. Royal Scot staff was extremely attentive and communicated well throughout the planning process and during the event itself. Royal Scot staff met all my expectations and so much more. Royal Scot is a wonderful venue and the event pricing is very reasonable. I highly recommend this venue.”
