I found photography my freshman year of high school (I needed some credits in a pinch and this was it), three days in class and I was in love. Fast forward a few year (hey! hey! not too many years... Watch it! lol) and I'm still just as in love as that third day.

Photography has been a huge passion of mine since I was in middle school but one class in college that really sparked my interest again. When the Pandemic hit, I was 6 months pregnant and starting to realize that I didn't enjoy my job anymore. I was so tired of working 50-60 hours a week and realized the most important thing to me was to be there to raise my child. So, that was that and here I am.

Growing up in rural Virginia my intro to photography came to me at 14 while breaking into abandoned houses with friends to take photos that can only be describe in retrospection as “experimental”. Fast forward a handful of years and I found myself going 'legit' and holding a BFA in photography, later finding yet more perspective and cutting my teeth shooting society events in NYC. Having now spent more years of my life taking photos than not, it’s safe to say that I’m all in.

Although Tori lives on the east coast, her art & lifestyle is largely inspired by the west coast. Tori grew up just outside Los Angeles and her art reflects the airy, relaxed and purposeful atmosphere that exists in the Golden State. The Tori Parker team intends for their photos to reflect a similar air: relaxed but with a powerful undertone of golden hour hues and genuine joy.
