The event space is on the second floor and is completely private. Onesto has a truly Milwaukee feel with wood flooring, timber ceiling, cream city brick walls, local artwork, windows overlooking the Historic Third Ward, a dramatic skylight and three fireplaces.

The house, known today as Reid Hall, was completed in 1908 and the family moved in on May 5, led by J. Ogden Armour, until approximately September of 1927. Many of the house’s mantle pieces, there are 15, and the paneling of the library reading room (or former living room), were imported from Paris, Vienna and London, including the marble dining room while the main walls are of Italian marble, the central panels of each wall have been painted over the plaster to simulate actual marble. It is also reputed that the marble staircase was built with the primary purpose in mind that their daughter, Lolita Ogden Armour, would descend the curving stairway on her wedding day, which she did in 1921, to John J. Mitchell, Jr. Eventually the property was sold to Lake Forest Academy where classes began in 1948. Today, Academy grounds total approximately 170 acres.

Welcome to BuBs Irish Pub! Located on Main Street in Germantown, Wisconsin, at over 15,000 sq. ft. BuBs might be “the world’s largest Irish pub.” We are a cross between a cozy Irish Pub and a place that can hold over 1,000 friends for any occasion. The building that BuBs is in has its own history and has been “the” meeting place since the 1890’s. Thousands of weddings, anniversaries, reunions, bachelorette parties, showers and other celebrations have been hosted here and we are honored to continue the tradition of hosting these events for you, your friends and your families.

From the moment you book your wedding, we work side by side with you to personalize and perfect every facet of your reception. You can conduct your wedding ceremony here or host a separate afternoon or evening reception. From setting casual, intimate or elegant moods to customizing your menu, every decision is catered to your personality, style and budget. There is a wide variety of options, including formal dinner receptions to intimate champagne brunches.
