Steeped in rich history, the Mansion dates back to 1726 and is featured on the National and Pennsylvania State historic registries. This elegant, mountain stone landmark, situated on mostly wooded acres, is surrounded by several semi-formal outdoor garden rooms. Voted by the readers of Harrisburg Magazine’s "Simply The Best Readers’ Poll" as the Best Wedding Venue for 24 consecutive years. The Peter Allen House’s award-winning facilities can accommodate anywhere from 20 to 275 guests.

The Manor at Mountain View was the perfect find for the owners. The rustic feel with modern-day conveniences was a must. But, what was also a must was to have a venue that the word beautiful could not even describe it but, yet to keep it affordable so that so many people could come and enjoy this spectacular piece of property. The Tavern (Groom's Tavern) has its original barn beams as this was at one time a bank barn. The rustic charm matches the rod iron chandeliers in the room leading to the tavern. In 2007 the former owners built an addition to the facility that speaks volumes, equipped with windows throughout to show off the amazing view... It really is breathtaking. Today the owners have renovated all the rooms in the building but, kept the rustic charm. It brings the family great joy to see so many people happy when they visit the property and to be able to share so many events with the individuals that rent the property is a joy that is indescribable.

It's All in the Details The Wedding & Reception package includes the setup for the Wedding, Bridal Suite rental, tent rental (heating NOT included), cocktail hour, the reception setup. Not only includes the set-up it also includes the tear-down and cleanup. Since 1928, West Shore Country Club provides Central Pennsylvania with the most glamorous of settings for wedding ceremonies and receptions.
