We worked for years to perfect our beautiful grounds, creating the most elegant and timeless background for your wedding day. Enter the grounds upon a beautiful wooden Trellis, past our love lock gate, and into a sea of green. From hidden statuaries tucked within our gardens to vintage post lights, and the sound of music heard throughout the entire site, each element crafts an unforgettable atmosphere. *We are closed for most of the 2025 season for renovations. For centuries, the beauty and natural treasures of the St. Croix Valley have drawn people to the area which is now Stillwater. The first to call this area home were the Sioux and Chippewa Nations. Later, the first traders and trappers in Minnesota Territory settled here. By the mid 1880’s, railroading and river activity helped build the community into a bustling town of 13,000 people. Stillwater became the trade center for miners and trappers to the North, and farmers and lumbermen to the West. The Chicago, Milwaukee and St. Paul Railroad eventually saw a need for a freight depot. In 1979, the historical significance of the building was recognized and the Freight House became the first building in Stillwater to be placed on the National Registry of Historic Places.

Banquets of Minnesota is a premier banquet destination located in Fridley, MN. We have two exquisite spaces; The Grand Olympian and the Vivian Ballroom. We offer full-service catering from our professionally trained chefs and in-house bar services. You'll have access to a pre-function lobby area and dressing rooms along with lots of amenities like a projector, wireless internet, stage, podium, professional sound system, and microphone. When you select either our Grand Olympian Ballroom or our Vivian Ballroom as your private event venue, you will be getting the country club experience without the country club price tag.

Our hotel is off I-94, next to 3M corporate headquarters. We're 10 minutes from downtown St. Paul, with a free shuttle service to destinations in a 10-mile range.
