Walhill Farm is a barn wedding and events venue located in Batesville, Indiana. Situated on 250 acres of truly stunning farmland, it’s a landscape of beautiful forests, pastures, natural ponds, flowers, and gardens. From ceremonies, receptions, and rehearsal dinners, we can host a variety of celebratory events. We can comfortably accommodate the largest and most luxurious of events, as well as smaller, more intimate ones with just close friends and family. The Barn, our larger venue, can hold up to 550 guests. The Lodge can comfortably host up to 100 guests.

Venue Staff will set, chairs, tables, and table linens however you are responsible for setting all additional decor not purchased through venue and ensuring that the venue is left free of food and returned to its original condition upon the conclusion of your event. Come and see one of the few remaining street-running train tracks in the entire country! It is a unique experience to watch the freight trains run down the middle of Main Street in La Grange’s business district. Visitors come from all over the country to partake! Trains pass through the city an average of 23 times a day, giving spectators ample opportunity to enjoy this phenomenon. The tracks can be viewed conveniently and comfortably from the train observation tower on Main Street. The La Grange Railroad Museum is a must-see destination. Franklin Farms is a family-owned farm nestled near New Washington, IN. It is owned by Peg & Greg Hostettler who grew up in the small town and have found their way back from Franklin, TN. The Elisha Morgan Mansion is a Flemish Bond brick farm mansion, built in 1817, and stands as a treasured historic landmark in the City of Fairfield. It has been determined that the house, as it presently stands, was constructed in three stages. The original Federal-style front portion, facing Ross Road, was built for Elisha Morgan in 1817. The second Greek Revival-style extension was added in 1858 by David Hueston. There is also a one-story third addition with a shed roof.

Pyramid Hill Sculpture Park Museum is a 300+ acre outdoor sculpture park and indoor museum founded by Harry T. Wilks in 1997. Pyramid Hill is a 501(c)3 not for profit museum whose mission is to “Bring People to Art in Nature.” The vision is to inspire and educate our diverse visitors in a world renowned setting of art and nature and to be a catalyst for dialog, collaboration and contemplation.
