We're fully outdoor & specialize in "tent weddings" (ours or an outside vendor - we have no vendor restrictions). Our pricing is based upon number of guests, day of the week, season, & year. We do this to allow access for all budgets - if you feel connected to the Havenstone & can't imagine your wedding anywhere else, we want to remove any obstacles. For pricing, you'll use our propriety system (the "Customizer") to build & compare multiple variations of your day to dial-in pricing - & then compare them to our "Everything Package" (absolutely everything for an entire day). In 2016, Cedar Grove’s owners, Kevin and Julie Claus, were sitting on the porch of Stillwater Lodge with some friends, gazing upon their 65-acre property. With 6 cabins and 2 lodges running smoothly, it was time to start planning for their next adventure. They talked about their 3 children growing up on the property, and reminisced on how so many milestones were celebrated. With all their kids growing up, they talked about them finding love and how wonderful it would be to see them married on the property where they shared so many memories. That was the day the dream began! Kevin quickly grabbed a napkin and feverishly started scribbling sketches of a large lodge that could hold all of their friends and family, celebrating the futures of their children. In true Claus fashion, they did not let this vision pass them by, and got to working on the lodge right away.

At Lavender Ridge Farm, we can bring your wedding and special event ideas to fruition. Our luxury timber frame barn is designed with modern amenities to meet your needs while fully supporting our agricultural endeavors that includes fresh honey, lavender, a variety of flowers, and forestry activities. While our main goal is to support a sustainable pollinator habitat, the natural beauty created on our farm is certainly picturesque. The barn at Lavender Ridge Farm is encompassed on over 34 acres located in the Licking Valley region just 35 min. from New Albany, OH, 30 min. from Zanesville, OH and is within 10 minutes of all needed amenities, including lodging.

Where elegance and frugal unite. The Davis-Shai House is a historical 1861 estate and wedding venue that offers classic charm that marries elegance with affordability. Our Camelot room offers large windows with natural light, a gorgeous crystal chandelier, and views of the front gardens. The Fairview room has a fireplace, glass doors to join the Camelot room, and doors that open to the outdoor veranda and front gardens. In-house catering or preferred caterer with a variety of menu options to select. Our menu options include plated lunches and dinner, English teas, and party packages (light hors d’oeuvres and appetizers), as well as bar service. All event rentals include: indoor tables, chairs, all table linens, centerpieces, glassware, drinks, set up and clean up, and friendly staff and volunteers. The Ballroom at Union Square is a historic space located downtown Newark. Originally built in 1902 originally as a dance hall the venue was renovated and re-opened in 2016 as a concert hall. To our surprise couples began booking weddings and to date we have hosted more than 50. The venue is three stories and features the main ballroom, two full service bars, a full service kitchen, changing rooms, and onsite accommodations for the couple.

Our Venue is Family Owned and Operated. Located in Newark Ohio on 29 wooded acres and open field. We feature a stocked pond for fishing, a bridal and groom suite as well as a prep kitchen. The Barns main room is 5300 square feet and will seat 250-300 guests. The outdoor patio area is covered featuring a fire table and barrel tables. There are multiple ceremony locations and tables and chairs are included in your rental. You may bring your own food and drinks and alcohol is permitted with the purchase of event insurance.

Combustion Brewery & Taproom's Private Event Space is a versatile venue perfect for receptions and weddings. Situated above the Brewery & Taproom, The Loft offers 7,200 square feet of private space that features an abundance of sunlight, plenty of room to accommodate your group, and the unique character of the historic Pickerington Creamery Building. The Loft at Combustion Brewery & Taproom can accommodate up to 160 guests. Guests enjoy Combustion's craft beer made-in-house and served fresh from a private bar in The Loft.
