“We feel so lucky to have found Andrew as our wedding photographer. He has an incredible eye for the editorial style and makes his photos into works of art with golden light and chiaroscuro. So many photographers just rely on their high-res equipment but don't offer anything more--I don't want a macro shot of every pore or line on my face like an owl in a tree at 100 yards, I want to have a sense of magic and beauty in every photo. Andrew actually does that. “We booked Christine with Barefoot Royalty for our wedding after meeting her at a bridal expo in Statesboro, GA. The Queen of Hearts package was the one that best suited our needs, which included an engagement session as well. My husband and I decided that we would like to have our session at the river on his dad’s property and Christine was on board and filled with excitement from the start! Little did she know our session would involve a dog, canoe, boat, champagne, and a very awkward couple. With all of these props, obstacles, and survival taking pictures from a moving riverboat in the Ogeechee, Christine got us through our engagement session. We were instantly blown away after our pictures arrived within the timeframe given! Our wedding day quickly arrived and was exciting, fun, and busy right from the start. Christine had a photography schedule for us to follow and worked as hard as possible to keep all of us on track (which was a VERY challenging task in itself). After the ceremony, Christine recommended “golden hour” pictures while our guests enjoyed a cocktail hour. As much as I was excited to start visiting and celebrating with our guests, I am so happy she encouraged us to take the time because the pictures are PERFECT! The week of the wedding, we decided to book an extra hour with Christine to be able to capture more of our reception. Honestly, aside from booking Barefoot Royalty in the first place, this may have been our best decision yet! She and her second shooter stayed until 9 PM and captured so many fun reception pictures that we would not have had otherwise! “I seriously don't even know where to begin. Picking a photographer was one of the most important aspects for my spouse and I, and we met with at least a dozen different people to find the perfect fit. Picking Courtney was one of the best decisions we made throughout the entire wedding process. Courtney brings a professional and calm atmosphere to your wedding day. The posed formal portraits were as important to us as the actual events, and she nailed it all. We are obsessed with our gallery and have an impossible task of deciding which photos to print! She stuck to her delivery timeline and we got the sneak peaks on the first day of our honeymoon, truly perfect timing. If you have any doubts about hiring Courtney, don't. We met with a lot of people who did not have experience with couples who looked like us. With Courtney, we did not feel like guinea pigs or like she wanted to work with us just to expand her portfolio to have a queer, plus sized wedding in an art museum (we definitely got this vibe from other photographers). “My wife and I were searching for a photographer who could capture our wedding as it really was, from the intimate moments to the wild dance floor, and Natasha's documentary-style fit our needs exactly! She listened carefully to what we wanted - minimal posed pictures, non-traditional "first look", lots of candids, etc - and she more than delivered. We had 130 guest count and Natasha covered basically every inch of our wedding day, no need or want for a second shooter. She was everywhere and so stealthy that we didn't realize she was so close to us the whole night until we got our pictures back. Our ceremony was outside and dinner/dancing were inside, and regardless of the lighting, the pictures turned out perfectly, she was even able to capture non-blurry pictures of guests jamming on a packed dance floor! She was a pleasure to work with, the instructions of her process were easy to follow from start to finish, and had a lot of examples to look through which gave us a good idea of what we were getting. We especially appreciated that she sent us a few pictures the morning after our wedding as a sneak peek, very nice touch. She's genuinely kind and calm which helped us remain present during our wedding day. Everyone who has seen our photos are amazed by the quality and we are too.
