We started this business many years ago with not much more than guts and the desire to build our own destiny. We worked long, hard hours, had second jobs and spent many a sleepless night. I sold the parties, and then we’d go in a rented kitchen and make it happen. Luckily those days are far behind us as we have been very blessed, but some things have never changed. Our two story grist mill dates back to 1860. Hold your event on the newly constructed decks surrounding the original structure. Mill Creek is an intimate wedding and event center for all occasions, nestled on 10 wooded acres in Griffin, Georgia located on US-19 right on the Pike County line. Our venue features amenities found nowhere else including the pre-civil war grist mill, open air pavilion overlooking the creek side ceremony area, a large cottage house dedicated to our couples to get ready in. You will love the bridal side and a private groom’s loft. In addition, the venue has onsite decor, catering prep area and 3 guest restrooms conveniently located.
