Our barn is situated on five acres bordered by the Portage Creek. The updated, historical barn is capable of hosting 200 guests. We take pride in providing a crisp, clean and professional atmosphere while also working with you to make your special day a uniquely memorable one. The Lakeview Room is located in the Clubhouse and holds approximately 265 people. Lakeside tented receptions with cocktail hour at our Lakeside Pavilion are also an option with room for groups of up to 300.

We began our journey in 2015 with a dusty gravel pit and vision for a new home. The gem was the stunning 30 acre crystal clear lake. After purchasing the property we found ourselves hosting church activities and work functions as people truly loved being here. Slowly we began adding amenities to the property. First a huge rope swing, (that we have since taken down). It was fun watching the kids fly into the water. Then the 110’ water slide kept all the kids smiling as they splashed into the lake. Then in 2020 our daughter was engaged to a great guy. As she began looking for that special place to host her wedding we came to realize that it was right here. We wanted it to be a very special place and we went to work.

The Embers is located in Southwestern Michigan, on the banks of the St. Joseph River. This hidden gem is only a 20-minute drive from Notre Dame and 1.5 hours away from Chicago. Inside this beautiful structure, guests will enjoy a recently renovated space that accommodates up to 99 guests. We can accommodate more with outdoors.
