Barely old enough to drive, Tony and a posse of high school friends would haul all the heavy equipment in, play the event, and split the $50 fee (pretty good money back then!) among themselves. They usually blew most of the money at Denny's after the gig, but it was never really about the money back then. Tony knew this was his life's calling.

At six years old, she began taking piano lessons with Jean Wonders, and at eight she began Suzuki harp lessons with professional harpist, instructor, and adjudicator Candyce Dunham.
