For over 14 years, I’ve been one of the lucky ones who gets to have my passion also be my profession. Under the big skies of Wichita, Kansas, where I was born and raised, I bought my first DSLR camera in 2008 and was hooked for life. Then I landed a job with a national portrait studio and was suddenly getting paid to do what I loved. My love for the craft took me to several cities as a regional manager, and eventually landed me here in Cincinnati. Though I moved on from that job, Cincinnati sunk its claws into me for good. I, my wife Katie, and our four (or more depending on when you ask) beloved cats now call the Queen City home.

When we got married in 2007, our only regret is that we didn’t hire a wedding photographer. We had a few friends bring their cameras and thought that would be good enough. Our photos are fine, they are enough to help us remember what happened, but they don’t fully capture US. What we have isn’t quite wall-worthy, except that’s all we’ve got. We want more for you! You want to love your story, to love your photos and appreciate them years from now when you’re sharing stories with your grandkids gathered around. You will want your memories hung forever where you can see them to remember your beautiful day!

I feel so honored to be a part of the most memorable moments in so many people’s lives. My desire as an artist is to create photos that are full of life and meaning and express beauty in an honest way. My career in the arts started in a more traditional setting, studying painting and drawing and I went on to graduate with a degree in Visual Communication.
