I honestly couldn’t have picked a better venue than Waverly Estate. There’s no venue like it that gives you the flexibility of coming in on Friday & staying until Sunday. We had no worries about clean up after the reception or scrambling the morning of between a hotel & the venue for getting ready. On top of all of that, the all inclusive package that Waverly has is NEXT LEVEL. I didn’t have to search for vendors because Waverly had them already available & built into my package. It was an absolute dream to have one less thing to stress about. Their coordinator, Rachel, is absolutely amazing too. She answered every question I had & was the best cheerleader for us on wedding day. She had everything completely organized & made my vision come true for our wedding. My wedding was a dream come true, in huge part to the team at Waverly Estate.

For outdoor ceremony, we have two beautiful options. The first is on the 10th tee. This location overlooks the golf course and the Blue Ridge Mountains. The other outdoor option is the Glenmore Pavilion. Designed by the team behind Pippin Hill, this beautiful, new open-air pavilion overlooks the golf course and the Blue Ridge Mountains, and it is covered so you would not need to worry about renting a tent for your outdoor space. This location is perfect for both ceremony and reception.

Jack and I could not have imagined a better venue for our wedding than The Club at Glenmore in Keswick, Virginia. Growing up in Charlottesville, I knew that I wanted to get married in my hometown. Wineries are a popular choice in Charlottesville, but they are mostly located in the surrounding counties which require a long drive from hotels. Winery weddings can also require coordinating a lot of rentals (decor, tables, chairs, etc.) and finding a caterer. After researching all of the venues around Charlottesville, we chose The Club at Glenmore or many reasons. One, the beautiful and convenient location. Glenmore was conveniently located only about 10 minutes from our hotel block on Pantops which made it easy for guests and shuttles. Even though the location is close to town, it is situated inside a beautiful gated neighborhood with views of the mountains, rolling horse pastures, and well maintained golf course. So it feels like it's out in the country without actually being that far away from town! Two, the full service. Glenmore provides so much for its couples! It has an amazing on-site chef so we did not need to find a separate catering company. This was one of our main deciding factors! Couples even do the food & wine tasting at the venue which makes for a fun day trip :) Glenmore provides all of the ceremony chairs, reception chairs, tables, glassware, serving ware, flatware, etc. So we did not need to rent anything except purchase some decorations. Speaking of decorations, Glenmore has many decor pieces that we were able to use! They have arbors, prosecco walls, a boxwood wall for photo opps, votive candle and holders, charger plates, up-lights, bistro lights, etc. Three, the amenities. Getting ready spaces, ceremony locations, cocktail terrace, reception ballroom - Glenmore has it all! Glenmore has a beautiful bridal suite that the ladies in my bridal party were able to use all morning. The bridal suite has plenty of room to get ready in, hang dresses in, store decor in, and even take pictures in. There is a separate space downstairs where the guys can get ready in too! We all enjoyed spending the morning and early afternoon together in these spaces while eating breakfast and lunch prepared for by Glenmore! The space was also convenient for our vendors too. They could come and check in with me throughout the morning since I was getting ready on-site. There are many ceremony locations to choose from if you want your ceremony at Glenmore. We actually switched our ceremony location within about 2 weeks of the wedding and Glenmore was very accommodating with this switch. Finally, the beautiful ballroom was another major deciding factor for us. We had our wedding in the summer, so we knew we wanted to have the reception indoors in an air conditioned room. Four, the staff. Glenmore takes pride in providing top notch service to its clients. Kim, the event coordinator at Glenmore, helped us so much from start to finish. She walked us through the wedding process, answered the many questions we had, worked with all of our vendors, met with us for our tasting and walkthroughs, made sure that all of our requests were met, and coordinated the entire Glenmore team on our wedding day. If you are looking for a beautiful full-service wedding venue with everything including an amazing on-site caterer, top notch staff, convenient location, and gorgeous views, Glenmore is the place for you!!

We booked The Gala 417 for our wedding, and it was one of the best decisions we made. The venue is absolutely beautiful, and the food is delicious, but the best aspect of this venue is definitely the staff. The owners and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout the planning process. We loved how accommodating they were from the very beginning. You can tell they want your day to be exactly how you envision it. They were so flexible with the food menu, drink options, and decorations. For instance, the bride wanted to create an elaborate dessert table because she runs her own baking business. The staff helped make the bride’s wish happen. We dropped all the desserts off at the venue in the morning, and they had the dessert display set up perfectly for the reception. On our wedding day, the staff took care of every detail and ensured that the ceremony and reception ran smoothly. We like being prepared and organized, so we really appreciated how well coordinated everything was. After the ceremony, the staff quickly flipped the room for the reception, setting up tables, centerpieces, and other decorations. If there were any issues that day, we never heard about them because the staff is that good. Our wedding was a perfect day, and The Gala 417 is a major reason for that. We could not have booked a better venue. We cannot thank you enough for taking care of our guests and us on the best day of our lives!

Serenity Ridge was the perfect venue for our wedding day. The staff was extremely responsive via email and phone leading up to the big event, answering all of our questions thoroughly. On the wedding day itself, they went above and beyond to make everything run smoothly. They were constantly available to assist with anything we needed, responding within seconds to requests. Their flexibility and willingness to accommodate last minute changes was invaluable. We couldn't have asked for more attentive, approachable, kind, and easy to work with people helping us pull off the wedding. Honestly, Serenity Ridge played a huge role in making our wedding absolutely perfect and effortless. We didn't have to worry about a thing all day long thanks to their top-notch coordination. I can not express in words how thankful we are for Chef John & Natasha. They are the most understanding and amazing people to work with; not to mention the venue itself is beautiful. Our original venue would not accommodate the number of guests we had and to reschedule our whole wedding within 3 WEEKS of the date.. John and Natasha worked diligently and speedy to set up our 100+ guest wedding within the time frame and was quick to response and very Communicative. The venue is very big with many ways to accommodate any type of wedding or event. Food was great to top it off. Only complaint, time went by to quickly on our special day :) AMAZING PLACE thank you John and Natasha for everything !!!!

I cannot rave about Whiskey Kitchen. They perfectly executed a night that was so special. Working with the event coordinators prior was so easy and they were very responsive. The night of, the staff was exceptional. The food was amazing. Everyone was so very impressed. They have events down pat. Would 15/10 recommend.

Where to even begin! When we found this venue, I would say that my husband and I had already toured over 10 other venues before Bella Collina and we had seen a few others that we had liked but none that we were set on that had quite the “wow” factor that Bella Collina has! We were actually just looking through venues and Bella Collina popped up and we read all the reviews and saw the awesome ratings and knew we had to check it out! From the moment we drove up the driveway and set eyes on the venue and the scenery. I knew without a doubt this would be where we would be getting married. The location is just so beautiful and the mansion is exquisite. It was perfect! Erin gave us a tour of the mansion and we instantly fell in love with everything that day. She was super friendly and answered all our questions! My husband and I both agreed that day that it was where we wanted to get married. We soon met the venue owner, Joe, and happily secured our date! Joe and Erin are both super friendly and easy to communicate with. My husband and I were super impressed with how everything was set up and how easily it is to get things scheduled with them. Their communication with us was spot on! They are so easy to work with. Something we really enjoyed was something called “Day of Interviews” where we got to come in and meet some of Bellas preferred vendors and then pick the ones we would like to work with. This helped take away a lot of the stress that lots of other engaged couples have to go through with finding vendors separately. Since our wedding ceremony was planned to be outdoors by the lake, when it came down to the last couple of days before our wedding and we had to make a decision about whether to move the ceremony inside or not because of the weather. Joe was absolutely amazing at making sure that we still got to have our dream wedding by watching the weather and helping us plan accordingly down to the last couple of hours! :) We got to have our first dance out on the balcony overlooking our guests out on the patio, which was breathtaking! All of our friends and family have been talking about it for the past couple of weeks since our wedding. Thanks to Joe, Erin, this amazing venue, and staff we got to have our dream wedding. It was everything we could have ever imagined! You can really tell that they love what they do and it shows. Thank you for helping us have our happily ever after! You really showed us that you genuinely care :) Bella Collina exceeded our expectations and went above and beyond what we could ever have imagined a wedding venue doing. We felt at ease on the day of our wedding in their hands

Riverside Vines is a brand new venue, and you would never know. We got married in November 2022, it was 70 degrees and beautiful. The lake front ceremony is stunning, your wedding is on a farm yet everything feels very modern. Communication was great throughout the whole process. I had my guests stay at two hotels in Chester, VA so it was only 20 minutes from the venue. Everything was seamless. We also stayed at the farm house on site, that's the way to do it. SO much less stress the morning of your wedding because you're already there. All of my bridesmaids loved the house, it was massive and had everything we needed. Couldn't recommend this venue enough. It's only going to get better each year, I can tell. Thank you RSV!

We had an exceptional experience working with Southern Roots Farm for the catering for our wedding. They executed our vision perfectly, the food was delicious, and the service was professional. They set up, served, and cleaned up the appetizers and dinner, and packed up the all the leftovers for us to enjoy. They also put out our cake and desserts before leaving. They did not require any hand holding and were a pleasure to work with. We highly recommend, you won't be disappointed!
