As such, clients must hire licensed and insured vendors, including food and beverage, for their Lighthouse event. Our 3000 square foot space is located in the historic Cotton Mill district of Oakland. Just off the 880 freeway, Flowhouse is located just east of Brooklyn Basin and directly opposite the Embarcadero Cove pier. We have two beautiful dance studios that can be used for dancing as well as dinner set up. One studio can also be used as dressing room area. We also have a beautiful living room and lobby area that can be used for a buffet set up, receiving area, and cocktail area.

OVY Camp and Event Center is a 501c3 non-profit. Each year, we open most weekends between January-May & August-December for events like weddings. Unfortunately, we do not host any weddings June - mid-August since we host our non-profit summer camp programs during that time. All rental fees help OVY Camp bring youth to summer camp that otherwise wouldn't have the opportunity!

For the ultimate in dramatic entrances, consider a trip around the lake in a horse-drawn carriage for the bride and her father. After the ceremony, a cocktail hour can take place on the spacious grassy area nearby, then the reception can be held at the Pavilion or Vista Point, or arrange for a tent to enjoy the evening under twinkling lights amid Yin Ranch’s lush scenery.
