Since 1994, the Whitlock Inn has become the recommended venue for social events such as weddings, receptions, dinner parties, and corporate entertaining. In May of 2020 Jim and Kathy Heilman purchased the Inn. As the proud new owners of one of Marietta’s greatest treasures, the Heilman family looks forward to preserving the integrity of the Whitlock Inn while hosting your most memorable events.

The Gardens at Kennesaw Mountain is nestled on four secluded acres at the foot of Kennesaw Mountain. The Gardens has a variety of spaces to meet all of our wedding reception, ceremony and rehearsal needs. Come see why we call it "naturally elegant".

Stay at Hyatt Place Atlanta / Centennial Park and explore must-see attractions within walking distance of the hotel. Visit the Georgia World Conference Center, take in the Fountain of Rings and outdoor concerts at Centennial Olympic Park or visit a plethora of aquatic creatures at nearby Georgia Aquarium. At day’s end return to our hotel in the hub of downtown Atlanta and unwind poolside.

As a facility rental, we provide tables and folding chairs inside, as well as complimentary parking. All outdoor furniture will need to be rented. Catering would be provided through one of our amazing catering companies we partner with and can average $120 to $200 per guest. Beverage service and bartenders are additional and are provided by the History Center. It is about $65 per person for a 4-hour premium full bar. We have a full property minimum on Saturdays of a peak month: April, May, June, September, and October. The facility rental fee for the Swan Gardens, Atlanta History Museum, and Grand Overlook ballroom on a Saturday is $12,500 and we have an additional $5,500 beverage minimum. Fridays and Sundays are $10,000 with a $2,500 beverage minimum. Most of our weddings can expect to spend between $400 to $1,000 per guest after all vendors and costs are added up and divided out per guest.

Built in 1928, the Piedmont Room was first the home of the clubhouse for the golf course that resided within Piedmont Park. Now, it hosts some of Atlanta’s most memorable occasions. Nestled on 39 acres of mature hardwoods, the Cator Woolford Gardens are situated on one of the few remaining intact historic estates in Metropolitan Atlanta and are located just a few miles from the heart of downtown. The Gardens were originally created for Cator Woolford, one of the principal founders of Retail Credit Company (now Equifax, Inc.), and were redesigned in 1996 as a series of outdoor "rooms." Changing with the seasons, the gardens and forest are filled with dogwoods, roses, narcissi, rhododendrons, laurels, daffodils, and azaleas, some of which are original to the estate.
