“Working with Martin from start to finish was an absolute dream. He was very professional, communication was excellent, and he always found time to chat with us if we had any questions we wanted to talk through. We had big dreams of doing our first looks at Grand Central, and considering our wedding/prep was in Brooklyn, this was definitely not going to be an easy feat to squeeze in with the travel time. But Martin helped us make the timeline, and although we ended up falling behind schedule, still managed to get us there with the most amazing photos and videos. He and Kero are literally the coolest people we've ever met, and they made a full day of posing and smiling so much more fun and lighthearted. And everything we did was all part of such a smart plan - there were some poses/shots that in the moment we thought felt odd, but looking back at the final edits it all came together. Their team works on other projects outside of weddings, and you can really see their artistry come through in the finished products. Our wedding photos are beautifully edited, and really captured all the most important aspects of the day. And the candid shots we got from our reception truly convey the energy and excitement of the night. The videos are exceptional. From each new snippet that got released on social media, to the final products of our 10 minute highlight reel and full documentary, we can look back on our wedding and feel like we're watching a movie trailer or a music video. The way the clips were synced with the music was so magical, and it all just flowed in a way that makes so much sense. “Working with Emily and Arch City Lights as a whole was truly a breeze. They allowed you to customize your experience with them as much as you need. Emily does a great job at keeping the timeline for planning etc. and initiating communication along the way. We had Arch City Lights set up sound for our Ceremony for which they did not play. Everything sounded great, was a very modern and minimal setup (they use computers for mixing etc. so it is not overly bulky). The quality was incredible and there were no squeals or sound problems. They were able to set this up very quickly and efficiently and the staff were calm, very friendly, and followed all venue rules etc. - only asking questions when extremely necessary. We also had Arch City Lights perform as a Jazz Trio for our Cocktail Hour. This was while the wedding party was taking photos, so I am very happy that we got a video. They were very engaging, extremely talented, and you could tell they had a great time playing. It really set the perfect mood for the cocktail hour. Emily was the Emcee for the entire wedding. Her "stage presence", calmness, and ability to roll with the punches made her the perfect candidate for this job and she worked hard to make sure she pronounced every name perfectly (which she did - even Metivier (haha)). She has a great voice and really added the narrator and vibe that we needed. She followed all cues and social prompts on her own and really took charge of the whole process - making everything go very smoothly and perfectly accompanying all of the wedding pieces with pre-chosen music that we determined together. They DJ all of the songs you want and make it very simple. Lastly, Arch City lights played us into the night and was truly the life of the party. They adapted their original schedule from 3 sets with 2 breaks to 2 longer sets with less breaks (I am assuming to keep the party going - thanks), and this show will be talked about for years to come. Every single attendee made sure to comment on Emily and the others' "pipes," and skills on their corresponding instruments. They did an amazing job playing songs that we asked for and keeping the party rocking. They had a full band with Horns etc. and everything about them was perfect and professional. If I had some constructive criticism to give, I really would, but Emily and Arch City Lights went above and beyond in so many ways to make this an unforgettable night. I would not have changed a thing.”

“We feel so lucky to have found Andrew as our wedding photographer. He has an incredible eye for the editorial style and makes his photos into works of art with golden light and chiaroscuro. So many photographers just rely on their high-res equipment but don't offer anything more--I don't want a macro shot of every pore or line on my face like an owl in a tree at 100 yards, I want to have a sense of magic and beauty in every photo. Andrew actually does that. “Nina is not what you'd expect of a wedding planner - she is so much more. Besides the fact that she has impeccable taste, an easygoing hat about her, expert knowledge and tons of vendor relations, she made me feel from the first day of hiring her through the moments when the wedding was over and I was sharing photos, that everything would be perfect. Like a coach, she put a few of my expectations, all of my anxiety and some of my to-do list in check, but did so with such professionalism and calmness, that I feel in hindsight her fee was more than worth it.
