I want to thank the staff and owner of Venue808. My husband and I recently had our wedding at this venue and first the place is amazing, it truly is a hidden gem. The location is perfect for a downtown wedding, or event. The owner was extremely helpful, above and beyond. The staff was professional and I could not have asked for more. Me and my husband recently got married here at the Beverly Mansion. It was truly the perfect day! VENUE: Of course, Grand Tradition is absolutely beautiful (it is what we were initially drawn to). Their landscape is always luscious and VERY well-kept. Gorgeous bright green lawns and colorful flowers. You hardly even need any ceremony décor. This venue is pretty enough on its own. COORDINATION: We had a coordinator swap midway through planning, and ended up with Lisa. She was EXTRAORDINARY! She made the whole entire process such a breeze and easily answered any questions/concerns we had. Lisa was professional, organized and extremely friendly. We loved getting to work with her. She worked her butt off during the entire process, and it showed on our wedding day. Everything ran SO smooth. Lisa made sure to keep us on schedule and handled all the vendors, everything went without a hitch. STAFF: The entire Grand Tradition staff we had on our wedding day exceeded all my expectations. From the moment we arrived I almost felt like a celebrity. We were treated with smiles, enthusiasm and care. The whole team was professional and really knew how to put on a wedding. I had two bridal assistants, Mackenna and Kaitlyn, who were absolute angels. You both really made me feel at ease with our little chats. You were constantly checking in on me, fixing my dress, holding my drinks, getting me food and doing anything I needed throughout the entire day. FOOD: You never really know what you are going to get with wedding food, but I think Grand Tradition has some of the best. That had SO many options when picking out what we wanted on our buffet, it made it easy to accommodate all different tastes. Our guests are still telling us how amazing their food was. Everything was truly delicious! Overall, I would recommend this venue to anyone. If you want a fairytale, stress-free and perfect wedding, this is the place to go!

Definitely, recommended if you’re on a tight budget. Our wedding theme was Simple Elegant. We’re both minimalist. We drive down from AZ, great thing we managed to pack light for the decor etc., our friends helped too. Hands down! Working with Keli for 9 months has been rewarding. She is great a communicator, a team player, attentive to details, visionary, flexible and supportive. She is not a typical salesman. You will not burnt out your wallet with this venue. No hidden fees. This don’t happen all the time, surprisingly, we paid less than what we originally budgeted for. That alone is a blessing! On the wedding day, her team was so kind to working with us during the ceremony, we were 30 mins delay and had to push back the lunch schedule as well. We did not get extra charged. They took care of my high anxiety with their patience. The food was 100% amazing. Great choice ordering the lemon chicken and beef brisket buffet style. Our wedding guests could not stop talking about the delicious meal. The space was indeed what we asked for any sizes of 50-300 guests. We had 120 guests attended on a Saturday afternoon (paid for 150 people), there were still plenty of space inside and available seatings. The outside was stunning. People love the Mountain View background and greenery golf grass. I enjoy the easy access to the parking lot and clubhouse. We brought our own desserts which saved us a ton of money. They provided microphones, iPhone adapter for our iPhone Spotify playlist songs, a podium, refrigerator, table cloths, easel, and extra outside set up tables all for free of charged. I can go on and on! Bottom line I don’t have bad news to say about this venue. Give her a call, be up front what you’re looking for, she’ll work with your budget.

We love the comfort and space that was provided for us on our special day in October 2018. It was a beautiful set up and spacious for our guests. We appreciate the host and his amazing team with providing us with a beautiful place to do our wedding. It was a wonderful venue that had another plus to it also being a vacation rental for us. We would definitely recommend this venue and vacation spot to anyone, who loves their space, privacy, beauty and comfort. Another plus is that it's affordable. We Love it and wouldn't change it for anything. It was an amazing experience overall and would rent/book from them again....

I got married at the Coronado Island Marriott in April 2023. It was the most magical weekend of my life! It was an Indian wedding - 300 guests and had events both Friday and Saturday (3 events total), all held at the Coronado Island Marriott. The views from the wedding site are stunning - you get the water and downtown skyline as your backdrop, and people were stunned. One of our events (Sangeet - Friday night) was at the hotel's Skyline Terrace, and the sunset hitting downtown and the lights in the night were breathtaking. You also get a view of the Coronado bridge. Everywhere you go, there are views. Our guests were raving all weekend about the accommodations. The hotel boasts the biggest hotel rooms in San Diego, and they did not disappoint. They were extremely clean and modern. The biggest bonus was the hotel wasn't huge to where people felt overwhelmed walking from one side to another. It was intimate while still being spacious, and you got the vibe it was my wedding wherever you went in the hotel. The hotel is super close to the ferry to downtown, so when people had free time, some of them would go downtown for food or site-seeing, and come back. It was super easy. The hotel has a spa as well (my husband and I got a couples massage the day after the wedding), which is so tidy and relaxing as well. There's a park nearby, and flamingos on site which I know a lot of the kids loved watching. The Coronado Beach is a 10 min drive (which is where we got some of our wedding pictures done), and a few people spend time there. The hotel also has a wonderful/spacious pool area, which a lot of my friends used. There are also a lot of restaurants walking distance from the hotel, which was nice since each of the families had welcome dinners at separate places - guests didn't have to worry about ubering or walking far distances. There's something for everyone to do/see during down time at or near the hotel. The hotel at the restaurant is called Albaca, and served up some delicious food (breakfast, lunch, and dinner were all great), and cocktails. My husband loved Albaca's spicy margarita so much when we visited one time, that he decided to make it his signature drink! I know a lot of guests spent time there hanging out. I have to give a shoutout to Kheshini over at the Marriott (Director of Event Planning) who was with us every step of the way - from site tours, to signing, to helping us plan the event, to being there when it all came together. Even if we visited the Marriott unannounced and we let her know we were in town, she'd go out of our way to say hi. She is so friendly, and just the person you'd want helping run your event. She worked with us to try to get everything we wanted, and to make sure that we were happy (ex. I wanted a very specific watermelon vodka for my signature drink, and Kheshini made sure that they were able to find it and order it in time). She was also extremely patient with the questions that came from our parents (which was a lot!). If you're considering booking the Coronado Island Marriott as a wedding venue, I 10/10 would recommend to anyone. You will not be disappointed, and I felt like a princess the entire weekend. Everyone there is extremely polite and accommodating, and went out of their way to make me feel comfortable and happy on the most important weekend of my life thus far.

From my initial call with Amanda I knew I would be taken care of, and she and her team went above and beyond. Their list of preferred vendors really helped me narrow down my selections from coordination to catering, floral & entertainment and especially knowing that each of these vendors have worked in the space many times before, eased so many of my worries. Amanda helped me navigate that list to find ones that worked with our budget, style and vision. If you are looking for a venue that will go the extra mile with attention to (every little) detail, patience, professionalism and kindness- then you have found your match! Our wedding day was absolutely flawless, and the venue was beyond stunning. The view alone with the simple elegance of the space, made it so we did not have to spend a ton to make a real "wow" experience for us and our guests. Dream Day!

I cannot stop raving about this venue and the whole event planning team. We had such an amazing experience having out wedding at the Horton Grand Hotel, it makes me want to do it all over again. The venue itself is beautiful and provides a perfect romantic setting for an outdoor wedding. Planning a wedding this year during COVID was nothing short of difficult but Jennifer and the whole event planning staff were so helpful and understanding throughout the whole planning process and really made planning this wedding and keeping our original date so easy. Jennifer constantly kept us updated on the current status of the hotel and was amazing at relaying information related to closures and events to us. She was knowledgeable about the restrictions and helped us plan for a day that was not only perfect in every way but also provided safety to our guests. It was a pleasure having our wedding at such a beautiful location and we were so pleased with how it all turned out and the responsiveness of the staff. There were a number of last minute challenges that made our planning stressful, it was worth every stress and the staff at the Horton Grand Hotel helped us through every set back allowing us to fully enjoy our day. My husband and I got married at Sinclair on G this past February. We cannot recommend this venue highly enough. It is BYO-Everything, which allows for so much personal touch and creativity, budget flexibility, AND the venue itself is so gorgeous as a blank canvas ... the brick walls, wood floors, and concrete and white details elevate the entire space before anything even goes into it! This allowed us to lean into the natural elements, pare down our decor, and create the wedding of our dreams. Booking was easy, there was always someone available to answer questions or give us tips and tricks from other events, and there are no vendor restrictions as long as they have the proper insurance. SEVERAL of the guests specifically commented on how amazing the space was. It felt intimate, warm, classic, and unique all at once. Thank you so much to everyone there who helped us set the stage for the most joyful day of our lives!

We hosted our daughter’s wedding last weekend. The venue is literally the perfect setting for a wedding and we received exuberant praise all evening for how beautifully magical everything was. I believe that our event was their largest to date (240), which meant that we had to split the ceremony and reception between the lower and upper gardens. Initially, we were concerned about having to make our guests trek from bottom to the top gardens (or take the provided shuttle), but this provided the guests with a charming walk through the gardens to gain an added element of beauty to the night. Marina, the event lead, was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout the entire process. Having a different starting location from the ending can be tricky (especially with a lesser know entry way), but the detailed instructions and maps that Marina provided proved to be extremely helpful in guiding everyone.

We had our wedding anniversary at the Prado and it was the dream celebration I wished I'd had for our wedding! FIrst off, the options we were offered for food choices was over the top. Everyone was so accomodating helping us with things. The day of, I felt like a Queen! I never lifted a finger- the staff always made sure I had a drink in my hand, and each time I got up from my chair, I came back to a seat with fresh a fresh napkin. The wait staff is so professional- they are there but not in your face. Everything we needed or wanted was handled for us. We have an event company, so have many contacts in the industry, and we chose to have our big party at the Prado because we knew we would be taken care of. We were not let down!

I can’t even begin to tell you how amazing my experience with Verbena was. I am a wedding photographer by trade, so I have not only been to hundreds of weddings, I’ve worked them. When it came time to plan my own wedding, I knew I wanted something intimate and unique, and WOW did Verbena deliver. Not only is it the CUTEST on the inside (great for photos) but the food is life changing. It’s not just “good for a wedding” food, it’s incredible period. We had custom cocktails created by their in house mixologist, and Ronnie the head chef came up with a custom seasonal menu just for us. One of my guests described her meal as “magical”, and many more said it was the best food they’ve EVER eaten at a wedding. If you are planning a small wedding and want something unique, classic, and DELICIOUS, run. Don’t walk.

FruitCraft Event Venue was designed to appeal to the modern couple as well as their friends and family who will love our gorgeous space and the elevated decor. We created a light and airy atmosphere as an extension of the outside with instagrammable walls and lush greenery to seal the deal. FruitCraft’s design elements honors all things living and is showcased in our living plants that adorn the space, custom made live edge tables and up-cycled lighting. The space has 14ft high ceilings, exposed beams with a northern orientation that lets natural light in perfectly positioned for the floor to ceiling plants.

From the moment we booked Fruitcraft Winery & Distillery for our wedding, Alan and Mari provided detailed and timely communication every step of the way. Their gorgeous venue with lush live plants and moody lighting created the perfect moody October atmosphere for our special day. The outdoor patio was a beautiful backdrop for our ceremony, and the amazing cocktails and drinks they served were a huge hit with our guests. Fruitcraft Winery & Distillery truly went above and beyond to make our wedding day everything we dreamed of and more.
