A bell went off in my head as my current job as a florist in a far away town was coming to an end. Brin’s Posy helped me come to terms with the loss. My floral business is going green! In this day and age, environmental consideration is essential. By operating an environmentally-conscious business and minimizing my carbon footprint, I refrain from incorporating aerosols, paints, or dyes. I seldom use floral foam and when possible, implement alternative options. I incorporate recycled glass vases into my designs or simply find vases/ containers to repurpose.
