“Having Funk Almighty at our wedding last year was both the cake and icing on top! It’s not just the usual band experience because on top of the great music some of the band stepped onto the dance floor with us, and that just blew our guests away! They even did a dance routine that all our guests caught on too and before we knew it everyone was doing the same dance. “We cannot thank Justin and Lesley enough for how special they made our entire wedding. The first thing that impressed us was Justin’s app that we could easily load music into from Apple Music or Spotify and how organized it was for what songs we wanted and when they should be played (e.g. open dancing, cocktail hour, father daughter dance, dinner music, etc). Justin handled all of the audio for our wedding ceremony and has an amazing wireless, battery-operated set-up so there is no need to rely on a generator, which was great since we were outdoors on top of a mountain! He had a mic on the lapel of the groom and our officiant so that I, as the bride, did not have to worry about wearing one and between the two mics all of the ceremony audio (speech, vows, etc) was picked up flawlessly. At the reception, Justin had an awesome set up that looked super clean and modern but also had fun lighting to get the party going. He was an excellent MC for all of our big announcements and could perfectly read the crowd to keep the dance energy up. His wife, Lesley, was also wonderful as the photo booth attendant. I knew we would get copies of all the photos taken, but coming home with all the photos arranged in a guestbook signed by our guests was a nice touch! Highly recommend, they are a dream team.”

“We loved working with DJ Goodie throughout the entire planning process. He was very professional and easy to work with from the beginning and we knew after our first conversion he'd be able to get the party going. It really made a difference that he took the time to learn about the flow of the wedding and our musical preferences. On the wedding day, he made sure everything was ready before our guests arrived by coming early to set things up. He even had backup music ready in case the musicians had to cancel due to inclement weather. He even mic'd our officiant for the ceremony. Jay checked in with us throughout the planning process (which for us was almost two years), offering advice and sending us outstanding vendor suggestions.
