Hello, my name is Georgina. Let me tell you a little bit about myself and my company. My original name is Gyöngyvér, and since my Hungarian name is so difficult to pronounce, my clients call me Georgina. I am owner and manager of Columbine Entertainment. My friend Annamaria and I formed our first string quartet in Budapest, Hungary over twenty years ago. When we moved to the U.S. in 1986 we reformed our group and named it the Columbine String Quartet.

The variety of instrumental combinations. Besides the traditional "only string" groups we offer combinations of strings-trumpet, strings-trumpet-flute, strings-guitar, strings-guitar-flute, strings-guitar- trumpet, strings-guitar-trumpet-flute, strings-harp, strings-harp-flute combinations.

We wear tux and elegant black outfits. If the couple is asking for a less formal attire we are wearing suit-tie and nice dress combos.

Yes, we do. We learn a lot of new songs these days because we are extending our repertoire on a daily basis.

We are proud to offer a lot of different instrumental combinations besides the well known string quartet option. Our favorite is the Trumpet & Strings. Besides that we love adding a Guitar or Flute or Piano or a Vocalist to our string groups.

Yes we do, we prefer knowing about your requests ahead of time if possible

We provide music for both.

Our musicians can play any type of music. Once we have sheet music we can play it.

We mainly play classical music but our repertoire is growing with modern pieces on a daily basis

If the location is outside of the Denver-Boulder Metro area then we are charging the fee that the IRS suggests. It is $0.58 / mile / musician round trip fee. We do not charge for our set up or break down time.
