Updike Farmstead was a picturesque, breathtaking backdrop for our wedding and we could not have imagined a more beautiful place to say “I do”! The facilities are excellent and the event coordinators are top notch, we were in great hands the entire time. Updike is also conveniently close to downtown Princeton without being in the center of town bustle. Our guests loved spending time in the area overall.

The communication with their team was perfect and thorough - they responded quickly to all our questions and made sure we had all the details ironed out ahead of time. The venue itself is big, spacious and simply beautiful. The staff was very attentive and patient throughout the entire event, making sure everything flowed smoothly. When I got a bit frustrated, they even held my hand to reassure me! Everyone we worked with was polite, nice and professional. The venue was absolutely breathtaking and all the staff were so attentive. Communication was always on point - they always called back within a reasonable timeframe and answered all our questions. My husband and I got married at Stewart Manor Country Club on 12/6/24, and all I can say is the whole experience with them was a dream. From the day we stepped in to tour and spoke with Lisa and John, we felt like family. We felt like they couldn’t wait to help us celebrate our special day. From planning, to communication, they were the best. Nothing ever felt stressful, and I believe that’s all because of how well organized they are. The team here does everything in their power to make sure your day is everything you have ever wanted. Fast forward to wedding day- with James as our maitre d/bridal attendant/what felt like our very own personal assistant for the day; our day was seamless from top to bottom. And the food? All of our guests have not stopped commenting how great it all was. It was the most memorable, best day ever. I would highly recommend The Village Club at Lake Success to anyone! Our wedding was absolutely amazing. Barry & Amy were such an incredible team to work with. Barry will answer your questions very quickly and is so helpful throughout the entire process! Amy is great the day of the wedding to make sure the bride has everything she needs and that everything is running smoothly. They are so wonderful. They will work through any last minute issues with you! For example, we decided to move the ceremony from outside to inside because of the weather (pretty last minute) and Barry was very accommodating with his staff to make the move very seamless. He even put the Chuppah inside the ballroom to make the room even more special and beautiful than I ever could have imagined! The food is also AMAZING - we got so many compliments on the food from our friends and family. The ballroom is just a beautiful room and with the view of the lake, it's really an amazing venue. We cannot recommend Barry & Amy enough and this venue, and would tell everyone to get married here!

The Shore Club was a cost-effective choice for our wedding venue. The communication with their event coordinator was direct, easy and quick, making planning straightforward. While the venue itself is dated with a basic design, we felt it was a good value for the price. The simple layout allowed us to decorate the space and make it our own for the big day. Guests commented that they enjoyed the food. We had about 170 people in their large ballroom and it was packed. I wouldn’t recommended for parties closer to 200, unless able to max out all tables at 10-12 guests. For couples looking for an affordable venue option without too many frills, The Shore Club offers convenience and practicality.

Where do I begin? We found this venue by word of mouth and from the moment we walked in for out tour till the end of the evening on our wedding day, everything was perfect with our experience at The Greentree Country Club. Our cocktail hour by the water was breathtaking and our ballroom was spacious enough for dancing as well. The food and kind service was exceptional!! GCH was the most amazing venue. I’ve been to a majority of the venues on Long Island but this one took the cake. The food was OUTSTANDING (everyone raves about it), the people (especially Paul) were so unbelievably helpful and amazing. My bridal attendant Nang was WOW. She held my train everywhere while we were walking and fluffed it to help the photographers, she always had water for me and the groom, she carried my lipsticks and had me reapplying, she bustled my dress so easily so we didn’t have to bother my mom, she got mine and my husbands afterparty outfits ready for us so we didn’t have to go upstairs… the list goes on and on. If you want a venue that makes your life super easy leading up to the wedding and the day of the wedding and one that your guests will rave about for literally months this is the place.

I can’t say it enough that The Rockleigh should be at the top of everyone’s venue list. They were our 2nd of 3rd venues we were touring and we never went to our 3rd venue tour. My words simply can’t portray how magical a wedding at The Rockleigh will feel. As soon as you walk in we were hit with a “wow” feeling. The venue is simply beautiful and left us and all our guests in awe. On top of a classy and beautiful venue, the service the staff provided is truly unforgettable. They will be at your side the entire day making sure you don’t have to lift a finger and ensure that your day goes as exactly as planned (and might I say better than you planned it to go). The food was also the most flavorful dishes I have ever had the privilege of enjoying. I hope this review helps other couples decide that The Rockleigh should be where they have their wedding. I could not have asked for a more perfect day and that was simply thanks to the amazing staff and service The Rockleigh provides. Our vision for our wedding was for all our favorite people having a night out at a bar and the 76 house more than delivered! We loved the historical aspect of the restaurant and they even had little pamphlets our guests could take that shared the history of the venue. This is a bit of an untraditional wedding venue (as it is a restaurant) but that didn’t stop anyone from dancing and having a great time. From the moment we started working with Elisa (our “wedding planner” aka the woman who runs the show) she was detail oriented while willing to work with us throughout the whole process. Whether it was from payment, table arrangements, food, getting the vendors set up, etc. anything we needed, she helped. The food tasting she set up for us was amazing allowing us to try various options for the dinner. We are both laid back people so we let the chef go with any appetizers he wanted. You are able to request anything you want and they will likely be able to do it for you. The chef did not disappoint, ALL of the apps were incredible. We had one guest mention he ate 20 meatballs they were so good. There was chicken, steak skewers, lamb chops, meatballs, hummus/veggie spread (that wasn’t even all that was served). We had eaten at the restaurant a few times so we knew the food was good. However, having to serve 120 people and still make it delicious is tough but they did it well (we went with the chateaubriand, amish chicken, mahi mahi, and vegetable risotto). We requested no pork or nuts for the whole wedding. We had a wedding cake through a bakery they recommended and they also put plates of small desserts out on the tables. Aside from the food, the service was amazing. All the waiters and waitresses were attentive and extremely professional. For us, we constantly had our champagne filled and asked whether we needed something. They were on top of water refills, drink requests, clean up, etc. We really appreciated the service given to us and our guests. We heard so many times during cocktail hour that every time someone turned around they had a food option. While we did not have to go up to the bar, our guests said the bartenders were awesome, quick, and generous! Elisa worked great with our other vendors as well, making sure they had everything they needed and that things were kept on schedule (food, dances, cake, etc). We had a completely stress free evening which allowed us to have the time of our lives. She ensured that our tables were set with the centerpieces, the florals were set up, and she created a menu for us (which is great to have something taken off our plate). Elisa also, set up our various signs and ensured everything was where we had discussed. We were able to drop everything off ahead of time and not have anything to worry about the day of. Our biggest concern going to this venue was the fact that the front room was partially separated from the rest of the restaurant. We decided to sit people there who we knew would be a bit rowdier and on the dance floor so it wasn’t an issue for us at all. It did get pretty toasty in there but we were dancing the whole time and it’s an older building. The air tried its best and while sitting for dinner it was more than comfortable! We are a crazy group so I’m not surprised we were sweating lol. This was the best day and a HUGE part of that is thanks to Elisa and her whole team at the 76 house. Food, service, people are TOP NOTCH. We could go on and on but ran out of space :)

We got married at Engineers Country Club on 9/21/24, and it was the best day of our lives. Ben and his team went above and beyond, and provided exceptional service. The inside is beautiful, bright, recently renovated, and clean. Ben was always quick to respond to emails and always made himself available to answer any questions we had (and we had a lot!). He was beyond accommodating, patient, and did everything with our best interest in mind. We want to thank Ben and his staff for making our wedding day the best day of our lives. They made sure everything remained on schedule per our timeline and every single thing went perfectly! You always hear people say that something is bound to go wrong on your wedding day, but we can't relate. Vicki, my bridal attendant, was also a dream come true. She was my shadow throughout the entire day and night. She is so incredibly sweet and cared so much about making sure I had what I needed at all times. She took photos and videos on my iPhone throughout the day and night, so we have so much awesome content to hold us over until we get the professionals back. The food was endless and delicious.
