The Bogan family has been a staple of New Jersey’s oceanfront since founding Bogan’s Basin in 1930, where they docked their fishing fleet. In 1988, they introduced the River Queen, a custom-built Mississippi Riverboat replica crafted to blend 19th-century charm with modern luxury. Featuring climate-controlled cabins, mahogany floors, oak paneling, two bars, three outdoor decks, and stunning views of the Manasquan River, Point Pleasant Canal, and Barnegat Bay, the River Queen offers an unparalleled experience. Now run by the family’s fifth generation, Bogan’s Basin began river cruises to immerse guests in the region’s beauty and history. The River Queen has since hosted thousands of private events, from weddings to public cruises, with a team of dedicated captains, crew, and vendors ensuring every event is seamless. Combining timeless elegance with exceptional service, the River Queen continues to enchant guests and uphold the Bogan family’s tradition of excellence.
