The rentable space in this listing is located upstairs to our main brewery tasting room that is open to the public. Upstairs, you'll find a floor-to-ceiling open air window with a view of the library and downtown; a stage with a small PA that is available to use; cocktail tables and barstools, as well as 2 large round work tables with low, cushioned stools. There is a TV in this area that you may use. The downstairs will remain open to the public unless you rent out the entire building, which is done on a case-by-case basis. Oakwood Creek was built in the 1930s by WW Wood and his wife Leanora. Wood drove a truck that hauled dairy milk from the outlying ranches into the town of Julian. Later on, Wood would operate B&L Liquor on the main street. The remains of W's garage are still very apparent on the property today, along with his goat shed & stables. We have one of the last intact water towers in the historic district. The property has been preserved to reflect the period in which it was built.
