After graduating with a Visual Design degree from FIT in New York City, I moved back to the Bay Area and decided to continue to pursue my passion for florals and romance. Now seven full wedding seasons in, I can call myself an artisan floral designer known for wild, raw and natural arrangements. Our aesthetic incorporates rare and unique ingredients; from wild fruits and vines, unique, fragrant, antique roses and other premium blooms. I truly believe beautiful lush flowers are what make a party, a wedding!

Rissa’s love for floristry first began over 15 years ago in a local flower shop and has most recently taken her to Australia to discover and fall in love with an inspiring floral industry. We, my husband and I, started Fleurology for the need for a stronger connection with clients + the want to spend more time at home. We didn't know what we were in for with Fleurology Designs, but after 10 years in the floral industry (7 of those being with weddings and private events) my husband told me it was now or never to pursue my passions of being a business owner. Fast forward to today, 5.5 years later, we have a personal and customized wedding experience. We even kept a team busy during the pandemic + 3rd year of winning the Revues 2nd place as "Best event planner in West MI". Pushing for the highest of standards for experiences!

She has been designing weddings, events, and specialty arrangements for family and friends for many years, and took the plunge in 2020 to establish her own floral business.
