Welcome to the RTP fam - we're a husband and wife duo shooting a combination of digital, film and Polaroid photos so that your gallery will deliver all the vibes and capture your sick, nontraditional love. And because of all the time we'll spend together getting to know you and crafting the perfect photo timeline for your day, you'll feel like we're just your two best friends there to capture the moments. No matter your size, race, gender, sexual orientation or religion, we're here to hype you up as you share all your wildest wedding ideas with us!

Meaghan and Evan were simply the best! Rhode Tripper Photography was the first photographer we reached out to for our wedding and after meeting with Meaghan we knew there was no need to look further because not only did she offer everything we possibly wanted - film, polaroids, amazingly composed photos - but she immediately felt like a friend we were getting to know. While we were nervous heading into our engagement shoot, Meaghan and Evan made it feel like the most natural thing in the world, and we had so much fun laughing our way through the shoot. That feeling only continued as we got to know them more and worked to plan out the details for our wedding. Meaghan laid everything out so clearly in the weeks and months leading up to our wedding and helped to organize our thinking for what truly mattered on our wedding day. It's hard to put into words how special our photos are - but Meaghan and Evan did such an incredible job capturing the very best moments of our wedding day. We've had trouble narrowing down our favorites because there are so many good ones! If you are looking for a photographer who will feel like a friend capturing your day with beautiful, intimate moments look no further.

Kelsie Elizabeth Photography

5.0

  • Fine art style
  • Starts at $6,000
  • Serves Camp Pendleton, CA for additional fees

From her high school darkroom days, to full time wedding and family photography, Kelsie leaned into her passion of capturing couples’ stories as they unfold. As a student of the Art Institute of Boston and Maine Photographic Workshops, art has always been an outlet for Kelsie. In addition, her Culinary Arts and Hospitality degree and extensive experience in catering and event management, gives her an advantageous eye for the details. Enjoying colors, fabrics, and florals, she is able to capture both the celebratory love shared at a wedding as well as the design and beauty surrounding the couple and their guests.

Having Kelsie as our photographer was one of the best decisions we made in planning our wedding! Kelsie is fun, thoughtful, organized, flexible, and such a talented photographer. Her previous experience as an event planner shone through as she kept in touch and asked careful questions to get to know us and think through our vision. Covid got in the way of many of our plans and we had to reorganize our whole wedding just days out, but Kelsie’s eye for balancing big moments and small details really captured all the special parts of our day. We couldn’t be more thrilled with how our photos and wedding album turned out!

Kat Pulse Photography & Visual Design LLC

5.0

  • Fine art style
  • Starts at $2,500
  • Serves Camp Pendleton, CA for additional fees

Growing up, my Mom taught me the importance of capturing every moment possible. She always had her disposable camera at the ready for birthday parties, graduations, holiday get-togethers, & more. I remember getting SO excited when the photos were finally developed! To this day, we look back at those photos & still feel the emotions, hear the laughs, & feel the warm embrace of loved ones who are no longer with us. Capturing these memories means everything to me because you're not just receiving a photo... You're capturing memories that will last lifetimes.

Kat was my answer to my prayers. From the first interaction and conversation to discuss my wedding, she was the sweetest and just so attentive to my vision for the pictures. She made sure to be there early to take pre wedding photos, there was quite a few changes along the day and she was quick to adapt to them and stay professional through it all. She took so many pictures and so many angles and made me feel comfortable. She also had the most unique ideas for poses. She captured all that I wanted. When I got my sneak peek pictures, I teared up as they were more than I could have imagined. They completely exceeded my and my husband’s expectations and we could not wait to see the rest. Once we received the rest, all we could do was smile. Highly recommended. Kat is the best because she is such a beautiful person and it shines through her work. She pays attention to detail and will not disappoint! So thankful that she was our photographer.

Northern Glow Photography

  • Classic style
  • Starts at $3,100
  • Serves Camp Pendleton, CA for additional fees

Northern Glow was built from a passion to create and document imagery in an art form that can be cherished for a lifetime. I have captured over 130+ weddings and countless other portrait sessions. The growth in the craft is what moves me. There is always new experiences and amazing people to meet. I truly want us to feel like old friends when the album has been delivered In brief... my ethos is to capture in an organic candid "unposed" fashion. All of this should be achieved by minimizing the nervousness in front of the camera and engaging in a fun adventurous experience.

Working with Northern Glow Photography for our engagement and wedding photos was the best decision! David is so passionate about his work, and we couldn't be happier with how our photos came out. We're usually very awkward in front of a camera, but David did a great job of keeping our sessions fun and relaxed. We had a second shooter on our wedding day - Sarah - who was also incredible. Overall, we're so happy we chose Northern Glow Photography! We'll definitely be working with David and his team for any photo sessions moving forward and highly recommend to others, too.

Chelsea Abril Photography

5.0

  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $5,500
  • Serves Camp Pendleton, CA for additional fees

Candid, vivacious photography for life's best moments. Destination wedding and intimate elopement photographer based in Seattle and serving the Hawaiian Islands (Hawaii/Big Island, Maui, Oahu, and Kauai), the West Coast, and abroad.

Like the procrastinator I am, I totally dropped the ball and did not even start to find a wedding photographer until way too late. Luckily, Chelsea fell from the heavens and not only had our wedding date available but was also prepared to do an initial meeting with us the same day we reached out (on New Years Eve no less). What else can I say about Chelsea other than that she is FANTASTIC. We were having a small, COVID friendly wedding that I was planning myself and she offered us so many fun ideas that brought our wedding to the next level. Have you ever been to a wedding where every single guest commented on how great the photographer was? It was like she was part of the family, and honestly, I didn’t even care what the photos looked like because she was just incredible to have around. The photos of course though, were gorgeous. Chelsea is so talented, and she completely captured the light, beachy aesthetic that we were going for. If I ever need a photographer in the future, she will be my first call – and she should be yours too!!

The Gawnes

  • Fine art style
  • Starts at $4,500
  • Serves Camp Pendleton, CA for additional fees

What about us? We’re a married photography and videography team that does it all. Our name is unique too, and can easily be confused with other famous likeness such as “Gawne with the Wind”, “Gawne in 60 seconds”, or “Gawne Girl”. And there is really no simpler (or more complex) way to say it: we love LOVE. We love and honor self-expression and truth, and we fight, stand, and are allies for inclusivity and equality. We not only want to know your pronouns, but we’ll use them. We see the different colors and shapes and configurations that love comes in, and we are here to capture every single moment of it.

When a Wedding Planner chooses you to be their photographer on their wedding day, you know you're doing something right. That's right, Brian and Maria where my own photographers after 6 years of working along side them at various events but mostly weddings they have continuted to impress me by growing with the industry, refining thier craft continuously, and always delivering the same service to all couple's. They are one of the few photographers in town who can really pose LBGTQ couples effectively and beautifully without making them fit within outdated gendered posing tricks. This is a learned skill and The Gawnes have it mastered. If you're looking for timeless wedding photography in film or digital look no further than The Gawnes. Gabriella Gabriella & Co. I' m Courtney, a photographer based in Salt Lake City Utah where I live with my husband and English bulldog, Winston. I began photographing at the age of 10 years old when I picked up my first pink camera from toys r us. I did little photoshoots with the neighbor kids and boy has that been one of the best decisions yet. I have been a professional photographer for 5 years. Capturing love, couples, self-love sessions, and so many incredible stories. Photography is the gift that keeps on giving. I have made the deepest connections and friendships, and been blessed with the opportunity to story tell and create art full-time.

Courtney did our engagements and our wedding day and it was beyond anything we could have hoped for! She was so intentional about making sure we were a right fit and we fell in love the moment we met her! She made us feel so comfortable and she was incredibly efficient! She made sure to capture every moment that was so important to us and we know that every photo will be magical. She coached us, cheered us on, and is a wonderful friend. If you want to feel like the only couple in the world, you should book her! Her photos really are absolutely priceless.

Lauren Parr Photography

5.0

  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $5,500
  • Serves Camp Pendleton, CA for additional fees

I specialize in lifestyle and wedding photography for those that value bold and charming imagery. I take a documentary, candid approach and my editing style showcases timeless, vibrant colors with a hint of mood. I have two dogs, I love to travel and spend time outdoors. I enjoy drinking kombucha and listening to 70s music. I'm an enneagram 3 and a sagittarius if that's more your thing.

If you want to be able to relive your wedding day, and feel the love and excitement all over again, Lauren Parr is a must as she truly captures the energy of the day! She encapsulates the pure emotions of every person. My husband and I have never felt photogenic, and are very critical when it comes to ourselves in photos. Lauren put us at ease immediately from our engagement photos, and was so fun to have around on the wedding day. Our photos showcase the beauty of our venue, and the beauty in me and my husband's genuine smiles enjoying each other and this special day. It's amazing at how Lauren and her assistant can be both all over the place capturing all the magic, and non existent at the same time. Some quick background on me - I spent almost 2 decades in the film industry, so I was very particular when choosing a photographer. I had FULL respect and trust for Lauren's craft and her eye. We have photos in our wedding album where people comment how they belong on the cover of a magazine. She simply is extraordinary. Please know that when you hire Lauren, you are not going to receive photos, you're going to receive ART commemorating your special day! If you can't tell, I can't recommend her enough!

Avery Wong Photography

5.0

  • Fine art style
  • Starts at $3,700
  • Serves Camp Pendleton, CA for additional fees

I can tell you how I started shooting photos since I was a young wee lad, but that's what everyone else says and also it's not true. I didn't even pick up a camera until I was in high school. I'm the type of person who ignores convention and does it differently, my own way. Seldom the "right" way, but always the "Wong" way. My passion for creativity and my adeptness of the tech and the technical is what allows me to weave my craft and to produce art for my couples.

When my now husband and I were looking for a photographer, we made a tier list. After lots of weeding out of mediocre photographers, we narrowed our selections down to two. We resolved to contact the last two to see which one we wanted to go with. From the minute I first met Avery on zoom, I knew that I wanted to work with him. Not only are his photos phenomenal and extremely cinematic, they are somehow able to tell a story in the photo. I felt moved looking at some of his albums and I wondered how he was able to do that. When we actually got to working with him on our wedding day, I understood his process: He actually knows how to pose a model and gives clear instructions on where to put your hand, when to tilt head down, where to look, etc. This is what I was specifically looking for, as I've had some photographers who were just 'okay' that snapped away but gave no direction as to what to do. I think this is the mark of an excellent photographer and one who has clearly done many weddings. My butt looks great in all the photos. :) Also, I feel like I would qualify as a quirky bride, and he totally embraced that and took photos of my multiple plushies. That's a 100 in my book.

The New Romantic

5.0

  • Fine art style
  • Starts at $9,500
  • Serves Camp Pendleton, CA for additional fees

I'm Megan, a fine art wedding photographer serving New England & the Pacific Northwest. I've been photographing weddings since 2015, and I still tear up during just about every wedding ceremony. When I'm not behind the camera, I'm running after my one year old daughter, renovating our 1932 colonial home, and adding to my continually growing collection of cookbooks.

Megan is one of the kindest, nicest, most wonderful humans, on top of being a truly fantastic photographer. From the first call to discuss her style and how the process would go, we could tell she was different. She was so easy to work with! She made everything feel so natural and put both me and my now-husband at ease. She was considerate and creative both during our engagement shoot and our actual wedding day, offering suggestions and taking advantage of the beautiful scenery, golden hour, and spontaneous moments to truly capture our day. She treated us and our party with tenderness and grace, and brought an incredible calm to a very busy day. Her photos are also absolutely gorgeous! Looking at them, I honestly can’t believe they’re real! She elevated what she saw and captured our day, distilling the emotions and experience, and produced photos that are a perfect encapsulation of our day: full of pure joy, love, and light. I am so glad we worked with Megan - we will treasure the moments she captured forever. I cannot recommend her highly enough!

Katie Arnold Photography

One of my favorite parts about this job is watching confidence grow right before the lens. When couples go from, “we’re going to be hard to photograph, we’re so awkward.” to “ no way! That’s us?” my heart could explode every time! Because what is on my camera is exactly what I see in you. It isn’t “you’re so talented!” or “that’s an amazing camera!” no, no. It’s simply you with the one you feel most comfortable with and who fills your heart and soul as no one or thing can. That my friend is genuine love in its most simplistic and powerful form. And it’s what I capture best. :)

After doing much research, I was blessed to stumble across Katie on Instagram. I immediately fell in love with her work; her photos are rarely staged, all authentic, “in the moment” candid shots. On top of her amazing work she is the most kind hearted, down the earth person. Going to our engagement session, we didn’t know what to expect. We immediately felt comfortable with Katie and never felt awkward. We had to postpone due to COVID and Katie was so easy and accommodating! Our wedding photos are absolutely stunning, there truly isn’t a bad shot! I recommend Katie to every one and will continue to go to her in the future for any of my photography needs :)

Movers and Shakers

We have come to find that life’s greatest events, although monumental, are simply pieces of our stories. Our hope is to capture those pieces in their most honest way-- reflecting them through tangible imagery, to look back on, to hang on walls, and hold in our hands for generations to come.

Austin and Jenna- where to start? These two are everything we could have wished for (and more) in our photographers! From the beginning they made us feel like more than just another client, they truly made us feel like friends. I knew going into the wedding planning season that I wanted photographers who captured who we truly were, how the moments really felt and they certainly surpassed those expectations. They made us look and feel so wonderful on one of the most special days of our lives and I still look through our gallery often, reminiscing. I still don't know how they managed to make two of the most camera-shy people feel so at ease! At the end of the day if you want quality photos that capture the intimate moments and feelings of the most special days and times in your life- I cannot recommend the Sauers enough. I look forward to sharing these pictures with my husband and our loved ones for years and years to come.
