In 1910, President Taft signed the bill to establish Glacier National Park as the country’s 10th national park. Mr. Healy was given a plumbing contractor for the train depot here in St. Paul, where he met Samuel Bartlett, the architect of many of the railroad depots and Glacier National Park Lodge. Healy then commissioned Bartlett to renovate and enlarge the house. In 1914, the farm was sold to John Healy, the owner of Healy Plumbing and Heating Company of St. Paul. Mr. Healy’s company became closely tied to the Great Northern Railroad, as it provided the heating and plumbing for many of the train depots that were being built around the country at that time. The farm was named Hope Glen Farm, the name of John Healy’s mother’s maiden name of Hope, and the house settles in a Glen, thus Hope Glen.

Surrounded by fields and forests, the Braham Event Center is a modern banquet hall with rustic decor on the outside and a modern, open floor plan on the inside. Our main feature is our large window with a view to beautiful birch trees, perfect for ceremonies in addition to receptions. The center can host parties of up to 400 people, with a large lobby and a library which serves as the bridal suite. Our on-site caterer, Kathy’s Kitchen, provides delicious and affordable meals. Kathy's Kitchen specializes in cooking from scratch and we enjoy the chance to customize to fit a price point or a favorite meal or side dish. Bloom Lake Barn is a freshly renovated wedding and event venue located in Shafer, Minnesota near the gorgeous St. Croix River. Set in the picturesque St. Croix valley, Bloom Lake Barn provides that "out of the way" country charm a short 40-mile drive from the Twin Cities. The wooden barn is enormous and contains vaulted ceilings and gorgeous chandelier and cafe lighting. The lower level of the barn is another unique space containing rustic beams and high-top tables built from original stanchions. The courtyard includes a Pavillion, bonfire pit, lawn games, and a walking trail through the woods

This amazing adventure began in 2016, since then we've hosted over 130 couples and their families and friends. Getting to know them is one of my favorite things. We aim to keep it not only affordable but stress free. Our philosophy is that you should be able to choose your vendors. We have some amazing suggestions but we welcome you to bring in your own licensed caterer and more.

We have many amazing options for your ceremony site. There are beautiful locations in the apple trees or around one of our ponds. Our 100+-year-old barn is a classic red and white hip roof barn. We have a beautiful 40x60 party tent to host your meal. Come out for a tour, you will not want to miss out!

Willow Tree winery is a small boutique style winery located just north of the Twin Cities in Ham Lake, Minnesota.
