Tony fell in love with being a DJ when he started spinning records at school and church dances as a 16 year old kid in Cleveland back in 1984. Barely old enough to drive, Tony and a posse of high school friends would haul all the heavy equipment in, play the event, and split the $50 fee (pretty good money back then!) among themselves. They usually blew most of the money at Denny's after the gig, but it was never really about the money back then. Tony knew this was his life's calling.

Together, they created an all-inclusive, stress-free environment where couples can choose from talented local photographers and videographers and work with a small team of planning experts equipped and eager to make everything a success. I’m Edgar, an HTX-raised native with Salvadorian roots. I am the owner, creative director, and lead photographer at Anchor Studios Photography. I'm a wedding and elopement photographer based out of Pittsburgh, PA! However, the stories I capture don't start and end there. I love to travel to capture stories all around the world.

I offer Fun, Elegant, and Exciting Wedding & Engagement Photography. I'd love to be your photographer. My style, I'm a photojournalist. I capture styled and candid shots as they happen. Some people say I have a sixth sense when it comes to capturing the perfect moment. I'd say it because I love my job and have had a great deal of practice doing it.

You are probably assuming my about me section will have a story about how I always wanted to be a photographer, I came out of the womb holding a camera, but that couldn’t be me. I stumbled into it, literally. I had no plans to become a wedding photographer. I was either going to follow my dad’s path and go to dental school, or become a social worker. But a freshman in college decided to shoot a few photos for fun, and now over eight years and almost 200 weddings later, I could not imagine myself doing anything else. This is my dream job!

Wood & Word Blooms is run by a Jen Angle, former teacher of 20+ years and specializes in using hand-painted wood flowers along with a faux, dried and preserved florals (nothing fresh here) to bring your wedding vision to life not just for that one glorious day but forever. Besides designing for you, I also offer DIY Wood Flower Experiences to create your wedding florals alongside me in person or virtually and 1:1 sessions to help DIY brides learn to do it themselves.

Believe it or not, we often have people ask if our pictures throughout our website are showing a mix of fresh and faux and…no they aren’t! Although fresh florals are pretty, we are totally in love with poser-blooms all the way here and that’s what we design 100% of our orders with.
