My name is Karen & I’m the face behind The Pink Cupcake. So a little about myself; I sold my first cake in the summer of 2016 to a family friend who needed an emergency cake after forgetting to order one. The Original Rainbow Cone has been a staple in Chicago for over 95 years! We serve our signature combination of Chocolate, Strawberry, Palmer House, Pistachio and Orange Sherbet sliced and stacked on a cone. We also offer other flavors upon request. We offer on-site catering with our trucks for outdoor events, and our pop up ice cream social service for indoor events!

Molly’s Cupcakes opened in 2007 in the heart of Lincoln Park, Chicago. Within 2 years of being open, we won the Food Network Competition Cupcake Wars! This love of cupcakes started when the founder was just in third grade. Molly was his third grade teacher, and whenever there was a special occasion, she would make her special recipe cupcakes for her students. As John grew older, Molly’s care for her students never left his mind. He decided to open Molly’s Cupcakes in her memory. I am a self-taught home baker and proud mother of one. My journey began as a paralegal, but everything changed when I baked and decorated my first cake in 2014 for Ella's 4th birthday. I made my first fondant two tier cake for my son’s 3rd birthday. I honestly did it because I did not know of anyone at the time who would create a cake like that for me. I did not know that doing that one cake would begin a new journey for me. With the strong support of my family and friends, I have been able to turn this hobby into my own little business from my own home.
