“I’m SO satisfied with our experience booking with George Street! I was drawn to them because I thought they were more reasonably priced compared to what some individual photographers are charging these days (we’re in the Seattle market), but I didn’t feel like the price advantage came at a sacrifice of quality. I loved the photos our photographer John C. took (who was AMAZING!) for both our engagement/portrait session and of course the photos on the day of the wedding. He did a fantastic job capturing all the beautiful memories we made that day, and we are so grateful. The booking process was really simple, too—I arranged a meeting with one of their sales reps (Amber) who did an excellent job explaining exactly how their company works, the packages available, how to choose your photographer and so on. Once we booked with them, we were given access to an online portal to put in all the necessary info that would be passed along to the photographer. One thing I would say is that because you are contracting with a company and not the individual photographer, you aren’t able to communicate directly with the photographer very often. You really are hiring them for photography only, so collaborating with them on the event timeline and other details is not really an option. Any questions you have generally need to be sent via the wedding coordinators at George Street, as you won’t even receive your photographer’s email or phone number until you actually meet them (it’s possible this is not the case for everyone, but just our experience). To be clear, this was NOT an issue for us at all, but just something to be aware of if a more hands-on photographer that can help with coordination and planning is really what you’re looking for.”

“When we first came across Weddings-Unlimited the deal seemed too good to be true.. They post their prices, the packages, all the extras right there before you ever even talk to them. So when I first contacted them the owner, Alex, was ready to answer all my questions, even anticipating that I would question the value. Not only was it a pleasant conversation, when I mentioned we were two men, always prepared for the “We can’t serve you” bit, Alex got even more excited and talked about other LGBT weddings they’ve served. We booked our DJ, Video, Photo and Photo Booth package then and there. In the year between that day and the wedding they stayed in regular contact with us. They sent us timelines to work on and we had conference calls to answer questions and fine tune everything. Our original point of contact was Leah, and she was so nice and ready for our questions and gave us guidance we really valued. When Leah had to take some leave a few weeks before the wedding Nancy took over as our contact. I was a little put off right at first(not the someone needed leave but worried the change might make things difficult) but after my first call with Nancy I was put completely at ease. We wound up talking several times before the wedding, and with my specific and in some cases unusual needs she never blinked and made sure I had contact with everyone I would need to. The week before the wedding the DJ, lead photographer, 2nd photographer, and videographer all reached out to us to introduce themselves, providing numbers to be able to text if I had any questions. And they all seemed genuinely happy to be doing the work A couple days before the wedding Nancy had to call and let me know that the photobooth we had chosen was having some technical difficulties, but before she called she already had a replacement ready so there wasn’t even a second where I had any worry that everything would be well taken care of. On the day of the wedding itself, Allen, the videographer arrived first. He introduced himself, we talked about some ideas, and then off he went getting all the footage of everything and then checking in and making other suggestions. He didn’t miss a thing and couldn’t have been nicer. Then Javier and Ross, the photographers arrived. Now look, I know it’s their jobs to appear excited to be there. But by the end of the night I truly believe they actually genuinely love weddings and working at them. Javier even hit the dancefloor with us at one point! It was AMAZING! Our DJ was Bryant, an absolute blast! He hit the lights, the music, the mist bubbles, everything at just the right time. High energy, made all the announcements and had people excited to be doing whatever we may have been doing. Whether the toasts, the mom and son dances, eating lol, it didn’t matter he got people ready to roll. We also had a couple of particular items, like I had a secret song and dance during the ceremony that my now husband was to be surprised with. So Bryant and I went over the cue and the music privately and then during the ceremony he stayed right by us, at one point almost crawling behind the groomspeople in order to hand over a prop! After the wedding was over Nancy called a couple days later just to make sure everything had gone perfectly, and I’m glad to report it had. The only disappointing thing about all of it is the fact that I won’t be getting married every year and get to work with them all again and again”

“PictureMeThisByLacie was one of the best decisions we made throughout the wedding process. Lacie was amazing to work with the entire time. She was easy to communicate with and kept us updated on our photo timelines, not to mention all of our photos turned about AMAZING. Our package included an engagement session and Lacie worked out a weekend she was already in Chicago to accommodate us. Leading up to our session, we had issues with controlled fires and protests in our preferred location, but Lacie found us a spot that blew my expectations for photos out of the water. She gave us a sneak peak and also got our pictures back to us super quick. On our big day, Lacie and Tim(her husband/second photographer) were the best to work with. They made us feel comfortable and captured our day better than we could have imagined. As soon as they got there, they got straight to work. Lacie got all the details and getting ready photos that I will cherish forever. Things were running behind the day of and they let us add on an hour to our contract the day of and pay at a later date. This ensured that we got dance floor photos and it was so worth it! Specifically getting pictures of my husband's grandmother in her 80s dancing with all her grandkids. We received a sneak peak very quickly and our whole (massive) gallery less than 2 months after the wedding. For as many photos as we got, this was a crazy quick turn around. Overall, PictureMeThisByLacie captured our day better than we could have ever imagined, we could not recommend them more!”

“LONG REVIEW but PLEASE read it all! Canyon and Pine are worth the booking!!! TLDR: Book Canyon and Pine if you want someone reliable, capable, and CRAZY talented (especially if you are an introvert!!). Emma SAVED our wedding from being ruined by a coordinator. For context, I have been photographing portraits for 10 years and have photographed two weddings. There's a LOT that goes into both weddings and good photos so we (I, haha!) were really picky when choosing a wedding photographer. From the moment we first connected with the team at Canyon & Pine, we knew we were in good hands. We were nervous about having photos taken but their friendly, cooperative, and personalized approach put us at ease throughout the entire wedding planning process. From day one, we felt incredibly comfortable coming to Emma with any and all concerns, questions, and ideas. When you book with Canyon & Pine, you really are booking quality artistic storytelling. The personable, humorous, and down to Earth team shown on their website is exactly what you get in person. We chose to book a package which included an engagement session in which Emma went above and beyond providing outfit suggestions, reminders, and other helpful guides to make our engagement session memorable and beautiful. She then drove out FIVE HOURS to meet us at sunset in Oklahoma and capture the most beautiful photos on top of a whole mountain! My husband and I are NOT camera people, I cannot stress how comfortable Emma made these two introverts. I also did bridals with Emma. Trust me when I tell you NOBODY will make you feel more comfortable than she does. I was going through some major health issues at the time of my bridal portraits and just didn't feel or fully look like myself. Emma found a way to make me look stunning. -- I'm really proud of these photos and will show them to every and anyone who asks (or not, haha!). She truly helped me feel beautiful in front of the camera. On the day of our wedding, Canyon & Pine's thoughtful and personable demeanor helped us stay calm and focused on enjoying the moment. The quality of their work was absolute perfection - they captured every detail with incredible precision. Nothing was overlooked and they took great care to make sure every single feeling was highlighted throughout the day (and there were a lot!). Special and priceless moments were constantly caught on camera despite the craziness of the day. On our day, there was a significant issue with the coordinator that threatened to derail the whole wedding. Emma stepped in and saved the day, ensuring our wedding ran smoothly and playing the part of coordinator and photographer. She went above and beyond, considering every last detail and helping us have fun during incredibly stressful moments. Because of Canyon and Pine, we can now look back on our wedding day and see it as beautiful, touching, memorable, and unforgettable instead of the disaster it surely would have been without Emma's help and knowledge. We will be booking Canyon & Pine for all of our future photography needs, from family photos to pregnancy announcements. At the end of the day, when booking a wedding photographer, you're booking someone you feel you can trust to be there every step of the way, leave no photographic stone unturned, and help you look your best. “Manny was one of THE BEST vendors that I hired for my wedding! From the moment that we met at an open house, he was incredibly professional, warm and kind, and the most supportive person! I also really was drawn to his photography style, which was bright and colorful and had amazing composition. Upon hiring him, he provided the most detailed photography guide I’ve ever received with a myriad of wedding tips so I was already so impressed from the very beginning. Manny both took my bridals and did photography for our wedding. For my bridals, we were looking to do a Spanish vibe and so we planned a location in San Antonio that was colorful and vibrant. The day of, he was quick on his feet to pivot plans when our original location ended up being too crowded, and I actually ended up LOVING our second location even more. During the entire session, he had so many great ideas for poses, and also helped my mom get involved while she helped me with my dress. The shots he took blew me away! The colors, the poses, my dress, the flowers - he captured everything so perfectly! Come wedding day, Manny and his assistant were so on top of every single moment and pose - making sure that we captured all the important moments and the fun little ones in between. He had so many ideas for things to capture and helped my bridal party and family with a variety of poses. My bridal party raved how much they loved Manny and how comfortable he made everyone feel while taking photos. Wherever we were, there was Manny or his assistant making sure they got the shot. We got the sneak peeks a week later and the full set almost two months later and again, I was blown away with all the photos!
