I've spent an unrealistic amount of time in college studying both the art and business of photography, graduating with a BFA in Photography & Imaging from Art Center College of Design in California in 2008. At which point, I decided to join my friend crew out in NYC and boom! — the most adult version of my business was born. In total I’ve been shooting weddings since late 2006 and working within the wedding industry since 2003. I swear I'm younger than that makes me sound. Yikes!

I love my job- so much- and this is why. I get what it is to feel uncomfortable with photos. I love taking pictures, but even I don’t love being in front of the camera for longer than five minutes- my stress levels start to soar! My poor husband has to get the photo super fast or I’m over it. Because I know this, I am extra careful to make sure I make the photo process as easy as possible for my clients and it means a lot to me when people tell me how pleasantly surprised the are with the experience! Eileen Meny is a curious New York based photographer who appreciates the fine art of a delicious sandwich, chaotic cities, and the ocean. I graduated from Brown University with a degree in Theater Arts and went on to pursue acting in Chicago and NYC. I transitioned from theater to photography while discovering the ability to express the beauty, tension, emotion, and celebration of life more readily in photography than theater.
