The core mission of Music Dept is to provide a concierge experience when clients hire live musicians for a wedding or special event. Our clients include individuals, wedding planners, corporate event planners, country clubs, and non-profit organizations. Music Dept is based in NYC, NJ, and CT, but we are happy to travel throughout the US.

Josh is one of NY/NJ's most creative and exclusive wedding photographers. While much of his work is branding and marketing photography for some of NYC largest companies, his talent of creating relaxed portraits and capturing true emotion is easily seen in all of his wedding work. After years of crafting his unique style, Josh's images stand out for their clean and vibrant storytelling qualities as well as his ability to capture everyone in their best light.

I left my corporate job, picked up a camera, pursued curiosity, and built the business of my dreams. Founded in Brooklyn, in 2010 HMPhotoshoots started off as a passion project; to create, to inspire, and to dream. Picking up a camera has allowed me to tell my own story. Soon enough, HMPhotoshoots became a full service photo studio.
