This notable estate is truly a one-of-a-kind property at which to host your wedding celebration. The mansion was built in the 1850’s and is the former home of William DuPont Sr. and his family. Your ceremony can be held on the sprawling lawn alongside a charming gazebo and gorgeous perennial garden. An elegant reception then follows beneath a pristine clear outdoor tent or, for a more intimate crowd, in one of the mansion’s luxurious indoor rooms. Bellevue Hall features stylish dining rooms, elaborate marble fireplaces, a sophisticated wood-paneled library, and an enormous central foyer with a grand staircase. Celebrate your happy occasion at Bellevue Hall. It’s sure to be a memorable event!

When looking for a venue, my fiance has been very particular. She has a certain look and style she is going for and would not bend toward the typical ballroom venues, that are still beautiful but not her specific style. When she found Bellevue Hall, she took a tour while I was at work and all she could talk about was how much she couldn't wait to show me the place to see for myself. I trusted her gut and booked without even seeing the place until months later for our tasting. Let me tell you, the food was out of this world and the venue was even more beautiful. Not only did we get to choose our menu while sitting in a mock reception set up, there was so much that they offered at the tasting from all of the appetizer stations, dessert stations, and the sit down part of dinner. It ran like the actual reception and left nothing for our imagination. I was BLOWN away. The venue itself is really beautiful too. It is a very nice estate with beautiful grounds. If you're looking for an estate wedding, where guests can utilize the entire wedding and aren't forced to stay in one or two rooms the whole time, this place is a must for you. Our planner is also great and very responsive with emails and phone calls. They are very thorough about pricing too and offer a lot of incentives. We're excited about our wedding in a few months!

Conveniently located in Wilmington, Delaware, The Farmhouse is family owned and operated and hosts one event per day. Hosting up to 190 guests, the Farmhouse offers numerous indoor spaces for your event including the bright and open main terrace hall, indoor lounge and bar, dressing suites and more. Outside, a large wrap around deck and patio overlook the gazebo bar & gardens. The Farmhouse is proud to be a women-owned business, still managed by the fourth generation of the Murray family. As a small family-run business, the Farmhouse provides a personal touch and flexibility in hosting your dream wedding.

Getting married is one of the most important choices of your life and we are glad we chose to do it at the Farmhouse. There is no other place we’d want to play a central part of our wedding day. We knew the Farmhouse was special the moment we saw the gold plated mirrors covering the walls in the main reception area! From that moment on, it was clear the Farmhouse and their staff pay attention to detail and are incredible at creating special days and little moments for the couples they work with. We worked with Anna and were greeted with kindness, excitement, and openness to executing our ideas and aesthetics. Anna played a huge role in keeping our spirits high and making it an overall smooth and wonderful planning process. WE LOVED the space: outdoor, indoor, and separate rooms to break up the venue space was wonderful. It was much more intimate and exciting than some of the other venues we have been to that tend to only include one big room. We were happy to be able to float around and dance with our loved ones inside on the dance floor, chat with people near their tables or the various stations, go to one of two bars, or hangout on the deck or in the grass. We saw that a lot of the kids gravitated to playing outside with the games, leaving the party space to the adults. Some of the older individuals floated into the smaller rooms at times. The deck area was loved by all who needed to take a breath or cool off. We highly recommend this venue because it is great in that it gives something for all types of guests to do whether that be drinking, dancing, lounging, playing games, etc. The food was wonderful from our perspective. We asked some of the haters in our life what they thought out of curiosity and they all also loved the food. The Farmhouse did a great job at coordinating with all of our vendors, ensuring we were all in the same area. Our guests complimented the outdoor space, greenery, staff kindness, and experience. Many asked how we found this “hidden gem.” We will never ever ever stop recommending xoxo Jaycie Hricak and Walter Kirby, April 6th, 2024 newlyweds!
