“We hired Dan for our November 2021 wedding about 18 months out (I like lots of time to slowly plan). When we started to interview photographers, Dan was very communicative. We had a wonderful phone call where he answered my dozens of questions, and we learned we had the same alma mater! Based on the phone call/email exchange and his portfolio, we hired Dan. Throughout the whole process, from hiring to delivering the final product, Dan was patient, accommodating, understanding, and very professional. His quality of work is phenomenal. We're thrilled with our photos; they're stunning. He is thorough in making sure he understands your needs for the wedding day, the flow of the day, and what pictures are important for him to capture. As the wedding day got closer, we checked in a few times to review those items. Dan was always receptive to my questions. Because the business is just Dan, the whole experience feels more intimate and special than if working with a larger photography business. He let us know the timeline of delivering our wedding photos, and he stuck to it. We booked during one of the busier times of year, so our timeline was 6 – 8 weeks, and he delivered as promised. Something I appreciate about Dan’s work is that he takes hundreds/ thousands of photos, but he doesn’t just give you a link to all of them you have to sift through 2,000 photos. He curates your wedding portfolio, culling out all the duplicates/not good ones, and gives you a beautiful package of edited photos. This is general advice to apply to anything, but if there is a specific type of photo you want, let your photographer know; no one is a mind-reader, including your photographer. I had some very specific (non-traditional) requests and Dan worked with me and our wedding party to accommodate those, weather permitting. He was always on board with my photo requests and making sure he understood what I wanted, and I really appreciated his enthusiasm and care. Also, not all photographers take time to do this during the wedding, but Dan went around to our guests’ tables to take photos of them, which was a wonderful gift to us to have more photos of our loved ones. Choosing a wedding photographer is understandably stressful; it was for me. The options are endless, and I spent hours/days researching dozens and dozens of photographers, and I had classic anxiety about making the perfect or “right” choice. Hopefully, I can save someone else the rabbit hole or researching: Dan was/is excellent. I think his price point is very competitive, and you will be glad you hired him; we absolutely are.”

“I couldn’t be more happy that I chose Sarah to be my photographer. From the beginning, Sarah was kind, thoughtful, and helpful with all of my questions and ideas. I’m someone who doesn’t typically like having their photo taken and feels self-conscious, and she always made me feel comfortable every step of the way. My pictures have turned out absolutely stunning (and I’m saying this as someone who typically hates every picture taken of themselves). She has an amazing eye for everything—lighting, angles, details, you name it. One of the primary reasons (besides liking her as a person) that I wanted to book her is I feel she has skill across a variety of shots (compared to other photographers that seem to take their photos all in one style). I had told her leading up to the wedding that it was important that I don’t feel rushed or pressured as that’s been my experience in the past at weddings, and she made us feel completely relaxed and comfortable all day. She followed our lead but still made sure we got plenty of beautiful shots. She also went above and beyond to help us when we had some issues with other vendors. Everyone in my bridal party and family adored Sarah, and are obsessed with the photos and highlight footage she’s captured. She’s also extremely reasonably priced, especially for the quality you’re getting, it’s amazing and I can’t recommend her enough—book her. Also special shoutout to a second shooter she brought that day, Brandon. He brought an amazing energy and sense of humor that had us laughing and enjoying the process all day. They were a great duo and were a huge part of making my day better (like one of the best parts of the day, seriously). We had so much fun with them and are so grateful for everything they did for us.”

“If I could add 100 stars, I would. Danielle was phenomenal from the start. She was extremely responsive to all of my questions. One thing that I believe makes Danielle stand out from other photographers is her adaptability. For our engagement photos, our initial location did not work out, but she was quick and willing to switch locations at the last minute. She knew exactly where to go to get the perfect pictures that fit our vision. My husband and I were initially so nervous about taking pictures, but Danielle made the process so seamless and FUN! My husband and I still rave about our engagement session. For our wedding, it was a very chaotic few days leading up to the event. I had to make changes to the schedule at the last minute and she was kind and accomodating, and rolled with the punches like a true professional. She had to deal with a lot of moving parts and did it with true grace. She eased my anxiety and was a pure joy to work with. She also had her second photographer with her, Taylor who was also pure perfection, and they both worked really well with my son, who has ASD. I felt that I had friends working with me, and not just business owners who wanted to collect a payment. Her work is unmatched, but her kindness towards her clients especially during stressful times is something that you can't get from just anybody.
