Lakeside Occasions is a family-owned wedding barn in the heart of northern Indiana's Amish country. Our historic dairy barn was built in the late 1880's and has been in the family ever since! We call it "The Guernsey" in reference to the type of cows that were milked there. The barn is nestled between picturesque farmland on a peaceful lake in a small village known as Emma.

Hidden Vineyard is a working farm and vineyard with an elegant old barn that looks out over the rolling fields. There is a large Catalpa tree near the barn that is the second-largest Catalpa tree in Michigan and makes for a wonderful outdoor ceremony site. Friendship Botanic Gardens is a unique, beautiful setting for the outdoor wedding and other special events. Weddings are scheduled from mid-May through mid-October. Fountains splash, birds sing, and trees tower above. The Gardens include over one hundred acres of woods and landscaped areas, providing one of the most beautiful outdoor venues in Northwest Indiana. The Gardens can accommodate a small and intimate wedding ceremony of a few family and friends, or a larger wedding ceremony up to 300 guests. Friendship Botanic Gardens welcomes and honors all marriages of all types. We do not discriminate against anyone. All weddings include chairs, use of the area for three hours and rehearsal privileges. Arrangements can be made for use of the Bridal Cabin and golf cart shuttle with driver to transport guests to the venue. Ceremonies and receptions will be customized by our wedding coordinator. Weddings over 400 guests can be custom designed to suit your needs.

Constructed in 1871 by Bavarian immigrant Philip H. Zorn Jr., Barrelhouse The Venue resides on the historic Zorn campus. As an annex to the brewery, Barrelhouse The Venue would manufacture beer barrels to house fresh beer prior to distribution around Northwest Indiana. Though unoccupied now, the original ice-house, brew-house, and malting building still stand across the street, a reminder of the dream Philip Zorn brought with him to America.

Sunrise Farms Wedding Venue sits upon a nearly two-century-old family fruit farm in Southwest Michigan. The property is a historical goldmine with a three-story barn from the late 1800s, the oldest surviving log cabin in Michigan, and a 1928 original farmhouse. It is situated on the remaining 13 acres of farmland with neighboring farms as far as the eye can see. It is lush with greenery and historic character. The well-groomed property offers a charming vintage flair and many natural backdrops.

The Hopewell Barn is located about 1/2 mile south of the historic Hopewell Church. Built in 1872 and purchased by Deb in 2018, the church is listed on National Historic Register for its ties to Gene Stratton Porter. Gene was a famous author in the early 1900’s and the area of ‘Hopewell’ was used as the locale for the settings for several of her books. The name ‘Rustic Barn at Hopewell’ was selected to pay tribute to historic roots of the Hopewell area.

Sand Creek Country Club is a breathtaking Country Club wedding venue located in Chesterton, Indiana. This gorgeous Country Club provides couples with a truly memorable and private setting to celebrate their special journey into marriage. Couples are granted access to a number of special event spaces to mark their romantic occasion, including a sprawling ballroom, formal dining room, and a gorgeous garden. The Grand Ballroom features large floor-to-ceiling windows offering stunning views over the pristine surrounding golf course.

Since 1830, this church has been a foundation of this community as the first and oldest recorded church within the quaint beach town of St. Joseph, Michigan. Now, we are opening our venue up to the community for booking weddings! Our rental fee for the ceremony space of $1385 includes: rental of the venue (indoor sanctuary/outdoor courtyard), officiant services, wedding coordinator, custodial services, and premarital counseling materials, and rehearsal time ($100 additional if you plan to serve food at the rehearsal). If the sanctuary is rented, the price also includes a computer operator/pianist & audio tech to run the sound system. The fellowship hall rental for reception is an additional $400-$500 ($400 M-F/$500 Sat-Sun).

Our large ballroom can accommodate groups up to 280 for wedding receptions, however, our versatile space lets us do wedding receptions anywhere from 80-280 guests!
