I am a NY-based Harpist with over 18 years of experience. I have been fortunate enough to play for dozens of professional events and weddings along the East Coast. I have performed at many different events, from weddings to corporate Holiday parties to tea parties to retirement parties. Some of the locations I have been lucky to perform include the Marriott Marquis in Times Square and The Willard Intercontinental in Washington D.C. Most recently I was selected to be a featured musician on an episode of the Drew Barrymore show!

We have been performing as a band since 2003, when Jordan Shapiro formed the band with some close musician friends in Brooklyn, NY. Since then, the band has performed at hundreds and hundreds of concerts, weddings, festivals, parties, kids birthday parties, and various other kinds of family oriented events. We have an extensive songlist of over 300 songs, drawing from all styles of music, including traditional folk/bluegrass, as well as classic rock, pop, jazz and country. The band has also released 3 full length albums of original music, ranging from progressive bluegrass/newgrass instrumentals to goofy kids songs.

With her earthy acoustics, dark melodies, and rich vocals, singer-songwriter Liat has been captivating live audiences for over fifteen years. After years of performing in the pulsing cities of Philadelphia and New York, Liat moved to Colorado, where she drew inspiration from the folk music of the mountains. Her music evokes her itinerant life and Israeli-American heritage— 90s’ pop-rock meets 60s’ folk with glints of Middle Eastern desert soundscapes. She spins guitar acoustics with her powerhouse vocals for lyrical “dark folk” sounds that linger long after a performance.

I studied with a principal cellist of the Rochester Philharmonic. I am well versed in music other than classical, and am well versed in many different styles. Three classmates turned friends and colleagues, TrioNYC is a group of New York City based jazz musicians that have been working together for over a decade. I have studied and performed worldwide. I am currently pursuing her Doctor of Musical Arts degree at Stony Brook University. I have studied at Manhattan School of Music, New England Conservatory, and Mannes. I have performed at numerous venues and festivals, such as Carnegie Hall, Jordan Hall, Aspen Music Festival, Young Artist Program at Canada National Art Center, Mozarteum Summer Music Festival in Salzburg, Sarasota Music Festival, Heifetz Music Festival,etc. I have played weddings at major venues in tri-state area, and hired by organizations such as The Cardone foundation, The Colombian American Goodwill Gala at The Untied Nations.
