We hired him pretty shortly after that. From then on, he was there to answer questions and provide resources throughout our wedding planning process. When the wedding got closer, we met a few times to go over everything for the wedding so I didn't have anything to worry about. The online portal he uses made things simple and organized. Our guests and ourselves were on the dance floor the entire night. “We first met Steven touring a different venue than what we booked and quickly got to talking about what we envisioned for our big day. We chatted about his DJ services and he never once pressured us to book him, he was giving us ideas as a genuine human being. A few months passed and Steven reached out seeing if we were still in need of a DJ for our wedding. Once we got our venue booked, we couldn’t say no to Steven. He was awesome from the day we met. He sent us a detailed planner to fill out for song choices, must play list, do not play list, etc. The whole process working with Steven was a breeze. He was SO patient with us as we changed our minds on songs, even after the planner was due. He is very reasonably priced compared to other DJ companies in the Milwaukee area. We only booked him for ceremony and reception music, but he has a TON of different things you can add on which is awesome (photobooth, uplighting, and so much more). The day of our wedding he was on time and extremely professional. Our ceremony music was perfectly timed. He kept our guests on the dance floor and played music on our must play list. He had fun transitions from song to song. He was dancing behind the DJ booth which every single guest enjoyed. He even danced with me for a song which was so fun! My guests commented on him throughout the whole night how awesome and fun he was (two weeks later and they’re still talking about how amazing he was)! I didn’t hire a day of coordinator and he took on the responsibility of releasing tables and so much more. I wanted multiple group photos of us with all our guests by family and friend group and Steven was great at announcing each group to make that happen. 10/10 would recommend Carter Events and Entertainment with Steven for your wedding day! He has the best vibes and is so easy to work with. Steven we can’t thank you enough for helping to make our wedding day a success!!”

“DJs are expected to be perfect, every second they are working, every day. No other job has this expectation. We understood this and wanted a human DJ, not a robot. We wanted a DJ company that can follow what we wanted, what we put on the forms, a DJ to play our music, fill in great songs to match our taste and style, to pack the dance floor (we know this isn't a reasonable request as this relies on guests, not solely the DJ alone), a DJ that can pick music to encourage guests to dance, and show up on time and do not a perfect job, but amazing job. And this DJ did just that! Our fear was a dance that had poor music and no dancers. That's it. We've seen so many other DJ fail at this. Not this DJ company, they were amazing and exceeded all requirements above. The DJ was outstanding and worth every penny. And I loved that I could call the COMPANY at 10pm with questions. Knock out job and very well done. Highly recommend these amazing (not perfect) humans! :)”
