I’m South Dakota-born but have spent the majority of my adulthood working as a creative based out of Amsterdam, NL, so I feel a bit like the city raised me. (For reference, I consider a three-mile walk for a cup of coffee a hike.) That said, I’m a fool for beautiful things whether they’re found on city streets or among the cornfields. I fell in love with the art of Photography about 7 years ago and have looked at everything through a viewfinder since. I can't go anywhere without mentally composing a photo or wondering what angle I could use to make something look more interesting. I started taking photos for friends and family and quickly fell in love with the concept of saving a moment forever, in a unique way only I could. The technology surrounding photo-taking has come so far that everyone has the ability to snap a picture with their smartphone just about wherever they're at; but to me, the value of high quality photography will never be outdated or lose it's value.
