We had our ceremony and reception at the Foundation Room and it was everything we dreamed it would be! The House of Blues staff was so so accommodating. Meaghan was an absolute dream to work with for the year leading up to it and she did not let us down at all. She was with us every step of the way, from the time that we toured the venue to very end of the night. She went above and beyond to take care of every detail all day long. I cannot stress enough how incredible of an experience we had working with her. She paid attention to every detail, listened to us and made every little change we asked for. She also coordinated with all of our vendors beforehand and even set up our macaron tower. She truly brought our vision to life and helped us throw the best New Year’s Eve party. The House of Blues staff was on top of table turnovers, quick clean ups, made sure we had everything we needed and were so helpful with set up and clean up. They made it a seamless, worry free night for us. The food was delicious and our specialty cocktails were even better! Meaghan worked with us to craft tasty specialty cocktails that were a hit with our guests. She also made sure everything came out right on schedule. The unique vibe of the venue made it feel like an exclusive and intimate party where our guests were free to lounge and dance or hide away in one of the many rooms. The theme set the tone for the party. It was an absolutely incredible night and we can’t thank this team enough!

Our chef /owner Tracy Chang is 100% hands on and will custom design your menu and experience from start to finish.

It’s impossible to fully express how wonderful PAGU is, both as a standalone restaurant and as a wedding venue. As Cambridge residents, we had eaten here with friends and family and knew the food, drinks, and service were excellent, and I hosted a work event with a partial buy out that everyone enjoyed, so it quickly came to the top of our list after we got engaged and were looking into wedding venues. From the very beginning, the staff, especially event manager Amanda, were so easy to work with, and they were very flexible to make the space, menu, and overall wedding very personal to us. After a cocktail hour with both passed apps and stations, we opted to have a buffet style wedding so we could accommodate a variety of palettes (our families are from different cultures: Chinese/Indonesian and German/Italian), everyone could find something they liked, and we could show off a seafood paella in a large format paella pan. They even offered a Thai pesto dish that is not standard on their menu! They were also extremely conscientious about guests with food allergies, clearly marking them on menus, and even going to specific guests (especially those with celiac disease) and providing separate non-cross contaminated dishes. They also managed the flow of tables and buffet line efficiently and flawlessly, which can’t be overlooked, as we’ve been to weddings where this wasn’t the case. Our guests all told us it was the best wedding food and cocktails they’ve ever had, and we were so excited to share one of our favorite restaurants with them. The space was perfect for our 110 person wedding. The outdoor patio was a nice space for a cocktail hour and provided a quiet place to hang out when the dance floor later opened. The main restaurant is much larger than it looks, so it manages to feel intimate while still fitting over 100 people without feeling cramped. We had the DJ upstairs in the mezzanine like a real DJ booth, which allowed him to have a great read on the dance floor and assure no one was sitting right in front of a speaker. Finally, they cleared the front two large tables for a dance floor that was plenty large enough for everyone to dance for over 2 hours. Finally, we were thrilled to use our wedding to support a local business that not only has a mission to serve excellent food and drinks (they’ve received James Beard Award nominations!), but also to build community. Chef/owner Tracy Chang founded several nonprofits during COVID to provide economic relief to restaurant workers and donate meals to hospital workers, and she and PAGU have been hosting roundtable events to start conversations about sustainability, culture, and community. We first heard of PAGU after my sister went to a roundtable event about using invasive green crabs in cooking! We knew hosting a wedding was going to be an investment, and while we would have been so happy choosing PAGU for our wedding for the myriad of reasons above, we felt especially great about putting our investment into a place that cares about the world and community around it. We could not recommend PAGU enough for your wedding!

The moment that I saw the ceremony package details for “The Quickie” I knew it was perfect for myself and my partner. It was exactly what we were looking for! We needed to plan far in advance due to important guests coming from out of town, and Jusmine graciously accommodated that request. It was a seamless process, from booking the day and time, to filling out our script questionnaire, to the week of the ceremony, and finally the day of! Jusmine replied to all communication in a timely, professional, friendly, and helpful way. I especially appreciated the detailed information about parking and locating the venue that she was able to provide. Jusmine composed a script for the ceremony and sent it to me about a month beforehand with the ability to request any changes. Even though we had never met, it felt as though Jusmine really understood the relationship that my partner and I have and she captured our love in words beautifully. She also included the important details, like when we would have the rings brought up. On the big day, we were invited into the studio right on time. Jusmine had a very welcoming and calming presence and helped us all feel at ease right away. She gave us an opportunity to take pictures together before the ceremony, and helped to capture all six of us on our own phones. The ceremony itself went as planned. After we were officially married, Jusmine took a polaroid picture of us for our keepsake and then let us all mingle and hug and take more pictures! We also had a ketubah that we asked Jusmine to sign as our officiant and she had a beautiful marble table to lay it out on. When it was time to leave, we made sure that Jusmine had our marriage certificate to fill out. Later that day, she sent an email to confirm that she had sent it to our town hall and provided the USPS tracking number. I cannot say enough good things about Dearly Studio as a venue, and Jusmine as a Justice of the Peace. It is clear that she is passionate about helping couples to unite through a wonderful and memorable day!

When the air hits each floor, it is filtered again through a MERV 13 filter at the floor distribution boxes. Our top priority is to ensure your safety and the safety of your guests while dining at Catalyst.

Robyn and her team at Catalyst are hands down the best!! I work in events and because of Robyn, I was able to actually take my planning hat off and really enjoy the weekend and be in the moment. The entire planning process and day-of felt seamless and absolutely perfect. Our family and friends still can't stop talking about what an amazing wedding it was - the vibe, the food and the layout/flow! We loved our experience planning/hosting a wedding cereomony and reception at the Armory. The staff were great to work with and the whole event went off without a hitch! The space was beautiful with lighting and decorations. One of the biggest advantages is that the Armory doesn't restrict which caterer you can work with. Many of the other venues we looked at had exclusive contracts with caterers that were many-fold more expensive than the one we ultimately used. Physically, the space we rented is a large performance hall with a stage on one side and a mezzanine on the other. Both are big open hardwood-floor spaces. The space is kind of dark, but looks great with adequate lighting and decorations. The Armory offers some string-lights and up-lights for free, and we also hired a lighting company to add additional lights. We also rented some plants. We had the ceremony on the main floor, then a cocktail hour on the mezzanine during which the catering staff flipped the main floor (we had 140 guests and they all fit comfortably). A live band performed on the stage and the caterer prepped in the backstage area. There is no kitchen so the caterer had to prepare all the food ahead of time offsite. One drawback is that the Armory doesn't allow hard alcohol to be served. Some other pros are that there's a parking lot and a new hotel that opened nearby. Overall, we would highly recommend the Armory, especially if you are willing to mix and match vendors and aren't expecting wrap-around service from a place that does weddings all the time.

We had our wedding at The Lenox Hotel and it was everything we hoped for! The venue coordinators were so great to work with - they responded quickly to all our questions, listened to our vision, and made themselves readily available in the months leading up to our big day. The ballroom space itself was just beautiful with tall ceilings, elegant, and a clean, open layout that allowed us flexibility in setting up the room. The coordinators worked closely with us to execute all the little details just as we envisioned, making sure things were perfectly in place. We really appreciated how they accommodated our requests. Our guests also loved staying at the Lenox hotel. Overall The Lenox Hotel was a wonderful wedding venue that contributed so much to making our special day exactly what we wanted. Their coordinators and beautiful ballroom come highly recommended from us!

We had the most magical day of our lives getting married at the Hampshire House in early May this year. Right from the get go, Hampshire House checked all our boxes when it came to what we were looking for in a wedding venue. It has that old New England charm, is located right next to the beautiful Public Gardens and is the perfect size for an intimate, small to medium sized wedding (we had 60-70 guests in attendance). Most of all, the food here is beyond exceptional and some of the best we’ve had. We are major foodies, and having food that was well-plated, generously portioned, and above all delicious and memorable was a high priority item for us. We were lucky enough to be able to work with Sydney Turnbull and the Hampshire house team. Sydney is the most kind, professional, and detail-oriented catering sales manager and event coordinator and thanks to her, all our venue planning with Hampshire House was truly smooth sailing and stress-free. Sydney constantly kept us in the loop with next steps in our planning timeline, offering thoughtful recommendations and suggestions for our wedding (such as floral placements during our ceremony, order and timing of toasts/speeches, seating arrangements, the list goes on!) She kept in contact with all our vendors, always promptly responded to our many emails, walked us through all the steps during our ceremony rehearsal —somehow making it seem much less daunting, and on our big day Sydney seemed to always be one step ahead, preparing and leading us through every portion of our wedding timeline in such a seamless way. Lastly, since our wedding ended late into the evening, Hampshire House thoughtfully held on to and organized all our florals, and various wedding signage and other items so that we were able to return and pick it up at the venue on a following day. This made it so we didn’t have to worry about anything at all night of and could end our wedding day with the peace of mind that everything was taken care of. Truly, we cannot recommend Sydney and the Hampshire House enough and if we were to do it all over again, we wouldn’t change a thing!
