It is 4,200 sf. ft. complete with tables, chairs, outside ceremony/reception areas, bar/food area, a portable stage for your head table, a Bridal Suite & Groom's Den. We have 3 large overhead doors that open up to a scenic view of our bluffs where you can have your ceremony & reception. The inside venue seats 450 guests and with the doors open we can accommodate over 750. The best part is that all of it is yours Friday through Sunday! In 1900, Frank D. Stout inherited part of his father’s lumber fortune, moved to Chicago, and within a few years was one of the wealthiest men in the country. Stout's was built in 1903 by Frank D. Stout as a summer retreat for his family and modeled after the famous Adirondack camps. Over the past 25 years, new cabins have been erected and we now have a total of 43 guest rooms on the Island. Imagine a ceremony on the South Lawn with panoramic views of Red Cedar Lake or a tranquil gathering in the former Stout Family master bedroom with a wood-burning fireplace. Stout’s Island Lodge offers an elegant yet relaxed setting with a selection of private event spaces for intimate groups to large tented weddings for up to 175 guests.
