“I worked in the Houston luxury wedding scene for years so when I first got engaged I messaged my dream vendors from the area which of course included TFOTK. We decided pretty early on that we were actually going to have a destination wedding so I messaged Sean, thanked him for the quote, and started looking for other bands similar to them in France. I then received an email from Sean telling me “not to count them out!” and that they would do whatever needed to be done to be there! That really set the tone for the entire experience I had with them, whatever we needed to be done they were there to support! Next thing I know we had a 5 piece band ready to perform in the French countryside. My personal and work life made planning take a back seat more than once and during that time Sean was always so understanding. We ended up telling them that we trusted them completely and to just make the set whatever they wanted, which is one of the best things we could do. They knew I loved Taylor Swift so they made a whole Taylor Swift Mash up. They figured out my parents first dance song and played that with a special dedication to them (brought multiple people to tears). They let one of my best friends on the mic to sing a karaoke song that we all had fond memories of. We danced all night long and at the end of the night people were asking me for the bands info to book for their events. Booking with them was one of the best wedding decisions I made and I could not be more thankful for their patience, kindness, and willingness to make the day perfect. Each band member was so incredibly talented and a pleasure to be around. You can tell that they only hire the best of the best. Im currently on my flight home from my honeymoon brainstorming another event I could have so we can party with them again!”

“Rob was incredible for Tessa and my wedding. He was very clear with communication and made sure everything was figured out before the wedding. During the wedding itself, he perfectly set up sound for the ceremony and even made a recording for us to watch the very next day. During the reception, he perfectly chose songs and mixed an incredible array of music that kept people on the dance floor until the very last minute. He was very good at reading the crowd and it made it incredibly fun. Also, he really went above and beyond with the video he sent us of the wedding the very next day as well as checking in with us to make sure we were having a good time and taking care of us. “We were initially on the fence about getting a DJ versus simply using a Spotify playlist for our reception, but James made us so glad we chose him. Months out from the wedding, James sent us a link to a portal, which let us start putting together lists of must play songs, play if possible songs, and do not play songs, which made for a fun break when other wedding planning got stressful. About a week out from the wedding, James had a call with us where he went over our timeline and what all announcements we were wanting him to make as the MC. He pointed out to us (and was 100% right about) some issues that we didn't even know we might have and how to address them. Only a few days before the wedding, when we realized that the version of the song we had learned our choreography to for our first dance was edited down from the full version, we emailed James in a panic about what to do. He reassured us that he would find a way to make it work and ultimately edited his own version for us. On the day of the wedding, James arrived early, fielded tech issues that arose from our venue like a champ, and made sure everyone had a great time. Our guests, both old and young, complimented what a great job he was doing throughout the night. The photo booth that we rented through him was also a big hit. James makes sure that in addition to the printed photos at the event, you get a digital copy of all of the photos taken as well. It was fun getting to go back days later and look at all the pictures of our guests enjoying themselves. If we could give James and Ace's High Productions six stars, we would. We can't recommend him highly enough.”
