Hi! My name is Katie and I own Katie’s Kakes! I am a small cottage law baker out of my home in Madison, Ohio. I have been a chef for many years and one year I wanted to make my mom a special cake for Mother’s Day. Her favorite flower is hydrangea, so I attempted to make a cake that looked like a hydrangea. It didn’t look as bad as I thought it was going to. After posting it, I had many friends and family reach out for me to bake them a custom cake. Finally in 2022 I decided to create Katie’s Kakes and received my LLC. I love being in the kitchen and creating something beautiful and tasty for any wedding! I love what I do!

When a family member was diagnosed with Celiac Disease, we made it our mission to create treasured family favorites Gluten-Free so we could all enjoy delicious treats together! Word got out and BAM... we're in business. We strive to create high-quality baked goods that bring joy to our customers' lives. We use only the best ingredients and our recipes are made from scratch. We take pride in our products and strive to exceed your expectations. We think Grandma would approve!

It started with a hobby, witch turned into a dream, and eventually became a reality for the empty nester of our company. The quaint specialty shop opened its doors in December 2009 and features specialty cupcakes and cakes. Each of our cupcakes is baked fresh each morning then topped with our special recipe buttercreams, made each week in house with quality products and fresh butter. Everything is in the details , down to the hand tied ribbon on the boxes.

Omalicha Custom Cakes & Confectionery is a unique bakery with a focus on creating bespoke cake creations in design and flavor. We are located in Akron, OH of Summit County. Our goal is to ensure our customers have wonderful cake memories by sourcing for the freshest ingredients and spending many hours creating beautiful art made edible. Scratch Bakery began in 2016, as my passion for baking grew into a full time “job.” I enjoy working with my clients to create the perfect treats for their occasions. My main focus is taste, taste, taste - using quality ingredients and made all from scratch. If something looks wonderful, but doesn’t taste good, I do not use it. Part of the reason I began baking and decorating was due to unmet expectations. I don’t ever want my clients to feel as though they didn’t receive what they were hoping for.

Any Way You Ice It was founded by the imagination of my mother, Janene Housley, and I. I grew up around the creation of wedding cakes by my mom. From the baking to the delivery, I was always intrigued. I attended the International Culinary Arts and Sciences Institute. I graduated top of my class with a two-year degree, a diploma and a Pastry Chef title. I suit the traditional and the modern bride’s needs …if you can dream it I will make it! Canela Bakeshop is a boutique custom wedding cake bakery, and are particularly drawn to creating designs with a unique artistic flair. We specialize in buttercream work, and can accommodate custom flavor requests and some dietary restrictions. We work one cake at a time, meaning your beautiful custom creation is the only thing on our mind!

Gailz Goodiez has catered over 150 weddings with delicious cake pops! With over 30 flavors to choose from, they will certainly please all of your guests. Gluten-free, Vegan, Keto, nut-free and sugar free are all available. Each cake pop comes individually wrapped and tied with either a twisty or a colored ribbon ($1 more per dozen). They are baked and decorated to order and are sold individually (for $3 each) or by the dozen (for $24) Cookies and other goodies are also available. This is a home based business and all products are home produced under the Ohio Cottage Law. I do not make wedding cakes.

I’m a brown girl who was raised in the 90s and I grew up with an endless love for all things Little Debbie and Hostess. A few years ago I set out to build a business around making baked goods that would bring people joy. I bounced around with a few ideas, but once I made my first batch of oatmeal cream pies (OCPs), it instantly became clear…throwback snacks are just kind of my jam.
