We had an outdoor ceremony and an indoor reception at this location. Connie and Georgia were the absolute best to work with! We had a ton of questions and concerns for our big day and they were there to answer all of them along the way. Not only that, they were very candid and informative. Genuine people with a beautiful space inside and out to use that checks all the boxes. They are easy to work with and responsive throughout the planning process. Staff go above and beyond to make your big day perfect. The bridal getting ready room is beautiful and has everything you’d need. Having the onsite hotel was perfect and convenient for us and our guests. They added a grooms room to the hotel that was perfect for them as well. Also best wedding food we’ve ever had- our guests asked if they owned a restaurant because they want to eat their food again! We recommend this venue to anyone we have conversations with and plan to rent this space again for anniversaries to revisit and have a great time there again!

CityGate Grille is THE hidden gem in Naperville! I have DJ'd several times at CityGate Grille and this is one of the few venues in the Chicagoland area that I will refer to my clients. First of all, the staff that you work with is literally second-to-none. Barb is extremely nice, professional, always has a smile on her face and is willing to go above and beyond to make sure that your wedding is absolutely perfect! The staff on the day of your wedding are timely, professional, courteous, and will stop at nothing to give you one of the best experiences of your life! Even at a vendor table, they treat you with respect and ask if there is anything we need - and, again, that's just at a VENDOR TABLE! Secondly, the space is beautiful! CityGate's lawn and patio ceremony areas are perfect! Confined to just your family and friends, there will be no worries of having random people walking by during your ceremony - which I personally love as your ceremony needs to be intimate between you, your spouse, and your guests. The actual reception space is gorgeous! Floor-to-ceiling windows looking out to the patio coupled with aesthetically-pleasing ceiling lights and bar with all of the fixin's for that perfect cocktail will keep you and your guests more than satisfied throughout your reception. Finally, the service is FIVE STARS ACROSS THE BOARD! This should be the single most important aspect of selecting your wedding venue. As I stated above, from your first meeting down to the minuscule details, Barb and her team have it covered 100%. The Glen Club provided a custom wedding that fit just to us as a couple and family. It is SO convenient to have the hotel, ceremony and reception all in one place to make it easy for us but also all guests. Planning is detailed and nothing is missed, the service is fantastic with very friendly staff, incredible food with many offerings and accommodations for dietary restrictions. The entire team is prepared, knowledgeable and experts in the hospitality field. It is the perfect place to host smaller or large weddings, and it feels intimate regardless with the gorgeous high ceilings, amazing patio view and overall beautiful facility. I loved my wedding, it was everything I could've wanted out of the venue. I had My ceremony (outside) & reception (inside) and it was such a wonderful time! I did the family-style menu and all the food was delicious. The reception area in the all seasons room was beautiful with the light globe. The bartenders and servers were very attentive and polite. All of our guests loved the food, the chocolate fountain, and of course the late-night bowling!! The communication with the venue was my main pain point as I was appointed multiple sales managers as it seemed like they were going through a management change. I thought it was odd that I talked with the sales manager for all of my communication regarding the wedding up until the day of I was assigned an event manager who I met 1 hour before my ceremony. The sales manager was still on property the day of but I thought it was weird I didn't receive any information that I would be working with someone else the day of. I highly recommend this venue if you're looking for a beautiful and fun place to get married!!

Marriott Naperville was a beautiful place to have our wedding. It was especially important for us to have affordable and easy accommodations for my husbands whole pit of town family, and the entire process was so smooth and easy. They were very responsive, helpful, and very very flexible, bending over backwards to help us and get us what we needed. We were in the Naper ballroom and they turned what appears to be a conference room on the day to day, to a magical ballroom for our wedding.

We had the pleasure of having our wedding here September 2024. When I say our experience with this venue could not have gotten any better. Our wedding coordinator, Katie Volkening, was with us every step of the way and never hesitated to answer all of my questions (and there was a lot lol). She was so helpful and responsive through the entire planning process and went above and beyond what was required of her as well as the rest of the BlackBerry Farm staff. The carousel and train ride were such a bargain and were a hit with our guests and made for great pictures! Our ceremony location by the pond was perfect and so serene. Two recommended vendors we used from BlackBerry Farm were, 11th Hour Bartending and Uncle Bub’s and both were amazing to work with as well. We look forward to visiting again on our one year anniversary and taking a train ride with our first child. Just book this venue, you won’t regret it regret it!!!

I literally could write for an hour or two and still not be able to tell you everything that was so wonderful about working with WSE. They were well organized, available, kind, and definitely make you feel like family. The venue itself is absolutely stunning, and photographs very well. We took advantage of the recent upgrades to Alpha and it was a fantastic space; big enough to comfortably accommodate our 150-ish guests, décor, dance floor, buffets, memory table, etc, but still felt intimate. They coordinated well with our outside vendors and I appreciated that we weren’t limited in our vendor selection. They made a lot of things just work without stressing us out at all. The setup for my caterers/servers was excellent and accommodating. The Romeo suite was so much fun for the groomsfolk, but the Juliet suite was an AMAZING amenity. The salon chairs and backlit mirrors were so convenient for my HMUA. The suite was comfortable and roomy despite the zillion people I had coming in and out. The full kitchen (particularly the full size fridge/freezer) was super nice to have. We had our ceremony on the west lawn, which was absolutely beautiful. They also were very enthusiastic and accommodating about letting us get some photos with our dogs and incorporating them into the ceremony. One of the most notable things, though, was how well they handled adapting to my and my guests’ mobility needs. Several of my older family members use walkers and were worried about the walking or the grass and they all felt very accommodated and cared for and were able to enjoy the day. I myself have a disability that affects my ability to walk and stand for very long; this was no problem for them. They shortened the aisle for my ceremony, knew exactly how to create a beautiful ceremony where both we and our wedding party were seated, and they put a lot of mileage on those golf carts getting me and my family where we needed to be safely and comfortably. I cannot recommend White Stone strongly enough and I would have every event there if I could.

Our dealings with the team well exceeded our expectations. We had our wedding reception at the Boone County Museum of History on July 6 and it was absolutely one of the best decisions we made in the entire wedding planning process! I grew up going to the museum and we had guests coming up to us all night telling us it was their first time there and how excited they were to see the museum for the first time and how they wanted to come back and spend more time there, and people saying they wanted to spend all night looking through the exhibits. The gallery space was perfect for our 125 guests and there was plenty of space to set up our buffet table, dessert table, and the bar on top of that. There was even enough room for a dance space near the entryway! The museum staff were absolutely the best throughout planning, answering all of our questions right away and helping us to figure out the layout when the time came. We were able to have plenty of personalized touches throughout our decor and our setup, and the staff even allowed us to set up a personalized scavenger hunt throughout the exhibits to find items we'd chosen based on our relationship. The Boone County Museum of History is 100% the best value for a wedding venue you could find in the area and is an absolutely gorgeous and special venue for any of your events, and I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a wedding venue in the Belvidere-Rockford area!

Everything from to the visuals, the staff, the food, was fantastic day of! The layout was perfect for my 125 person wedding allowing for my dance floor to be directly in the center. The space itself is gorgeous with exposed brick and wooden floors. The second floor patio is a lifesaver for the dance floor lovers needing to cool down. Even though my cocktail reception was just downstairs, the entire feel is completely different, promoting and Irish pub setting with elegant lighting. Staff was extremely efficient, and the bartenders were so personal! Gabrielle was my coordinator, and she went above and beyond during the entire planning process. She even added the personalized touch of having our signature drinks served in pineapples (as this this was how he proposed). Minor hiccups with pricing/guarantees due to the switching of hands, but fair compromises were put in place to offset this. Due to the flawless execution day of, and the hard work Gabrielle put in to make sure my day went off perfectly, I would absolutely recommend Loft 28 West!

The Gardens are absolutely gorgeous in the summer, and my husband and I fell in love with the location immediately after we entered. Aside from the beautiful scenery, the Gardens provide delicious food from Culinary Landscapes, their in-house catering service, and all of our wedding guests were raving about the food and beverages. The catering staff were amazing and very attentive. The only smudge on our experience was that establishing and maintain communication was rocky – especially towards the beginning of our planning process – and there were a few surprise expenses tacked on. All things considered, however, we would go back to CBG in a heartbeat – we had a fairy tale wedding.

Let me start with this, one of my friend’s is a retired wedding/event coordinator and she said she’s never seen a team as good as the MBR team in her 20 years. The atrium is a beautiful ceremony location, the ballroom is classy and perfect for a wedding bash, their vendors are excellent, and they are just a well oiled machine. They take great notes throughout the process and check in with you, their software platform makes it easy and I just can’t say enough good things about the day of. I had someone constantly checking in to see if I needed something to drink or food, etc. We went down the street for pics and a coordinator came with us and made sure we had water when we got back. 100/10 rating. Also, so many photo opps near the venue.

We wanted a more casual wedding and pinstripes was perfect for that. The weather was perfect so we were able to have our ceremony outside on the patio and that area was perfect for the pictures! We had bowling during cocktail hour which our guests loved. The food was incredible and they did a great job managing our cake, decor, and everything we dropped off. The whole staff was so easy to work with and all of the meetings went so smooth.

Starting from the first call we had with Amelia (Sales Manager in charge of their room blocks) last November while Jonathan (Wedding-Catering Sales Manager) was out of the office, we knew The Abbey was going to be an amazing venue to work with. Her vibrant personality could be felt over the phone, and made me feel like we’d known her for years. This rang true through every single phone call and email we had during our wedding planning, all the way through being onsite for our wedding week. Amelia is friendly, approachable, a great listener, accommodating, timely, and hospitable to name just a few. We genuinely felt like she cared about the success of our wedding, and the experience that our guests were going to have. She went as far as working with the reservations team to ensure we got a suite that was previously reserved when it opened up, customizing our wedding block to fit our guests’ needs, helping ensure guest welcome bags were distributed, and welcoming us for our stay with a gift basket note. We truly believe we would have ended up having our wedding elsewhere if I hadn’t tracked her down last November. Similar to Amelia - from the first time we connected with Jonathan to start planning our wedding, we knew we had something unique in our venue team, and felt confident we’d be in great hands throughout the process. Jonathan always responded to our frequent emails in an extremely timely manner – often right away even when we told him to wait until business hours – and it often felt like he was one step ahead of us. He was extremely helpful with providing his industry expertise, guiding our decision making based on previous experience with weddings / large events, and felt confident that he ultimately had our best interests in mind. He helped us incorporate unique components / details to our wedding that our guests are still talking about, and gave us the sweetest welcome package in our suite! (And recommended we book a great secluded suite!) Jonathan somehow was able to accommodate all of our requests in some way or another, and always made us feel like he was so personally invested. We never could have imagined working with someone so responsive, flexible, detail-oriented, and somehow as passionate about our wedding as we were. His organizational and coordination skills shined exceptionally throughout the last 10 months – even the day after the wedding he was helping us move things out of the ballroom and transferring flowers to brunch. He was truly there every step of the way. We have not been able to stop raving about both Jonathan and Amelia to anyone who asks, and can confidently say we don’t have any negative feedback to share about our experience. Our guests have been the same way and have all been positively commenting on their whole experience. Any challenges that came up throughout our process were always met with solutions, a clear path forward, and their team going above and beyond. Jonathan and Amelia were even there to see us out the Monday after our wedding as we departed, and made not only us but also our parents feel like family. Truly everyone from check-in, Greg at valet, and restaurant spa staff, to the catering events teams and management being open to our ever changing requests ( and keeping up with our large group size) – everyone was so accommodating to work with. We cannot say more positive things about the staff, venue, and our experience!

The Woman’s Club of Evanston was the perfect venue for our June wedding! After an extensive venue search, we were so excited to find the Woman’s Club. The venue checked every box we had - close enough to the city for us and our friends and close enough to the suburbs for our family. The venue is also located right between a reasonably-priced parking garage and a lovely Hilton, which accommodated anyone flying or driving into our celebration. Our vendors also raved about the ease of working in that space, from the vendor parking lot to loading areas to elevators. The venue manager, Gretchen, was the best! She is an excellent communicator and answered all our questions promptly, and was on top of all the tasks that needed to be completed. The BYOB policy of the venue also helped us save some money on our beverages. The list of preferred caterers was great and we found someone that was the perfect fit for our fusion wedding. The venue itself is so beautiful. As soon as I walked in, I knew it was just right for us. The first floor is so warm and welcoming, and was perfect for our photos and for the cocktail hour. The second floor ballroom is grand and had such a wow factor. We were able to keep our decorations to a minimum because the venue itself is gorgeous. The space has so much natural light. We used the gardens outside for our first look, which made for some lovely photos. There’s nowhere else I would rather have gotten married!
