During our initial conversations, he was a super diligent listener and made sure to ask a lot of questions to make sure he got a feel for what we wanted out of the evening. He was also super prompt in his replies when we had questions or concerns throughout the planning process. His music worksheet was also really helpful in terms of helping us to nail down the exact vibe that we wanted on the big day. And then, the MAGIC happened! On the day, Marcus was punctual and came fully prepared with everything he needed for setup. He also dressed for the night in a very sharp suit that was perfectly fit for the occasion. He curated the music for the evening absolutely perfectly — we literally could not keep people off of the dance floor. Folks were coming up to us all night to ask for his information because they were so impressed by how well he curated the vibes. The real kicker was that in my father's speech he mentioned that he and I used to sing Rod Stewart's "Maggie May" together in the car. “Kevin is truly the best. 1. He is incredibly professional. During the preparation process before the wedding, he fully understood our busy schedules and proactively reached out to us about any areas where we were lacking, allowing us to prepare accordingly. “Naked Soul (led by Tony and Tom Perrone) absolutely ROCKED at our wedding! Tons of friends and family told us during and afterwards that they were the best wedding band they'd seen, and we might be biased, but we agree wholeheartedly. They were also pretty great to work with, and as a result music was one of the least stressful parts of planning and one of the best memories of the event. The planning process was extremely professional — we had a few calls with Tony to talk over the vibe we were going for in the ceremony, cocktail hour, and dance floor. They sent over a list of a couple hundred songs in their repertoire and we picked 20 or so to anchor their idea of what we were looking for and selected our processionals, recessional, first dance, and parent-child dances. Our first dance was not on their list but they learned it and killed it in their performance. Our venue was a little non-traditional (relatively small room for the dance floorband) and we weren't sure that a full band was going to work in the space, but Tony put us at ease and pulled it off amazingly. One of the points Tony made in the run-up was that the songs we were picking were recommendations, not a set list. The band was going to follow the vibe and play more of whatever style was working with the crowd. This made it so much easier for us to pick songs, and in the end they played a lot of stuff that wasn't in our pics but went over better than we could have dreamed. I never thought I'd say that the best songs at my wedding were from the Backstreet Boys, Spice Girls, and Black Eyed Peas. They knew their audience and the place went wild when they played Everybody (Backstreet's Back). The range of songs that a 10-piece band with a full array of vocalists can pull off is wild. Anyway, 10/10, would book again. If you're in the New York area and looking for a party we can't recommend Perrone Bros/Naked Soul highly enough. Bonus, these pics were taken by Tony and posted to their Instagram after the event.”

“No one has partied so hard inside a church hall as much as we did thanks to Xenia! When I mean everyone was always on the dancefloor I mean EVERYONE, all ages! People danced so hard at our wedding they were too tired to dance at our after party. She transitioned between songs seamlessly and timed the right songs perfectly. “Lucas was recommended to us as "the DJ you want to hire if you want someone you can trust to keep your dance floor full and to read the crowd to keep your party going," which immediately appealed to us. We live in Brooklyn, and got married in the Catskills, and found out that Lucas also DJs regularly at some of our favorite spots in Brooklyn. From our first contact with Lucas, he was responsive, kind, interested in getting to know us and our taste, and super professional. We connected on a personal level as well as on a musical one. Now, having had Lucas DJ our wedding and supply all of the audio equipment, we can't recommend him highly enough. The audio for our ceremony and speeches worked without a hitch (he also helped to professionally feed our ceremony audio/music into our livestream setup), Lucas knew exactly the right moments to take cues for music, and when the dance party began, he played great music that totally matched our vibe and tastes, and as promised, he kept the dance floor full all night (no small feat, especially because we downsized our wedding to 60 guests). In addition to being an excellent DJ, he's also a great guy to be around, and on your wedding day, it's really nice to feel like you are surrounded by people you want to spend time with. “Brian is one of the best wedding DJs in the business. In the past two years I’ve been to eight different weddings. Brian was the DJ for three of the eight, and the party/reception component of the events was never more fun than when Brian was driving the bus. He is an east coast DJ, but he spun tracks at both of my sister-in-laws’ weddings and as we were searching for a DJ for our own wedding we reached out just to see what he would charge for a wedding in Chicago. Turns out the price was right. Brian traveled to Chicago, MC’d our entire wedding, brought all of the equipment necessary and made our day exceptional in every way. I think there are a few things that really set Brian apart from other wedding DJs. Anyone can stand there and run through a playlist, but Brian went off book a few times to match and capture the energy of the guests. As we were in the midst of the planning process he added zero stress, and just calmly walked us through the process of selecting songs. He had suggestions and recommendations along the way. He even brought an extra speaker so that we could plug our digital piano in and the pianist would be able to play loudly enough. Overall, we can’t recommend Brian highly enough. “Let’s start with “WOW!” We had a music festival themed wedding with four bands so music was a critical piece of our wedding weekend and the standards were high. We interviewed over 20 bands from the NYC area and decided to go with Vitamin M after really vibing with their band leader, JJ. And boy are we glad we did! JJ worked with us to curate the perfect performance for us and our guests. He was able to balance dance songs and classics alongside some custom requests that went off the beaten path of most traditional weddings from the likes of The Band, Talking Heads and The Clash. He even helped us surprise our guests with a singing introduction of the bride and groom. He took time to get to know us and was always happy to answer any questions we had. This was not a cookie cutter wedding band performance. This is a group of truly talented professional musicians putting on a real show. “Choosing Just the Melody Band was hands down the best decision we made for the entire wedding! Melody and Edvin (and the whole band!) are so talented, not to mention so versatile! My fiance and his family are from Mexico and my family is from the US, so we wanted to be able to dance to US wedding classics and early 2000s throwbacks as well as Latin pop, Shakira, and lots of traditional Mexican music and cumbia! We went into our vendor search having no expectation that we’d find a band that could do ALL of that — but we lucked out finding Just the Melody! They can do it all, and SO well! Our wedding guests were on the dance floor until 1am! They also learned our first dance song for us and performed it almost better than the original :) Above all, they were so kind and accommodating and fun to work with and they cared so much about making sure the evening went exactly how we wanted it to go. We cannot recommend this incredible band enough”

“The Barnstorm isn't a "wedding" band. They're a band. A really great band. And that makes them the best wedding band, in our opinion. We went to one of their live shows before booking them to play at our wedding and we knew immediately they were perfect. The band is 7 guys who you would want to be friends with -- which makes them blend in seamlessly at a wedding. Their range of songs is awesome. Everyone raved about their playlist, including a few of our guests who are huge music snobs. They also did an awesome job of getting everyone involved. People were dancing, singing along, even getting a second or two on the mic. It was like having a private live show at our wedding, which we loved and all of our guests loved. The vibe is much better than other wedding bands we've seen. On top of that they were incredibly easy to work with and accommodating. Brooks never made us feel bad for requesting songs, no matter how random, and they learned anything we asked them to that they had the right instruments for. Overall it was an awesome experience and we could not possibly recommend them enough. If every wedding we go to in the future has Barnstorm as the band, we'll be thrilled.”
